It is 8:00 am now in China.

If the news is fake, it will be several hours before the PBoC will issue a denial. (I still believe that they are not particularly hostile to the exchanges and their clieants, but they will not get out of their way to help them. It probaby has very low priority in their bureaucrats's schedules.)

If the news are real, it will be at least some hours before the local banks call the exchange operators.

Anyway it seems that the exchange managers are more cautious now than yesterday, when they were certain that it was a hoax.

Jorge thats brokers
buy a bitcoin!
You mean, buy one NOW?

Wow! Much friends this thread! Such nice!

This is as good a time as any, NO?  And, you do NOT have to buy a whole bitcoin, you can buy a fraction of a bitcoin.... that way you can familiarize yourself with the process of buying... and setting up an account..

Don't be such a scaredy cat!!!

What are you doing here losing your time on something that you think will fail? Trying to aware us??

It is not sure Bitcoin will get a lion share in the financial sector or in international transactions but when it will the price will be 4 digits in 2014 USD and probably 5digits in nominal terms

Until then it may go down more Wink

It's simple. Buy Bitcoin now with fiat, buy alts with that BTC and get 1000% fiat profits in few weeks/months Cheesy
Alts don't profit over time, a select few spit and sputter profits than crash. Otherwise they just lose money.

Whenever Bitcoin goes below $500 then I start getting worried as my credibility in "real life" starts getting hurt pretty bad. My cost average is like $200 or lower, so not panicking, but its not a very fun time to be "the bitcoin guy" right now.

This is what goes passes for capitulation for me. I'm out of fiat. out of leverage. Might lose everything in a margin call. Pawn shops are closed and I just bet the mortgage money. I'm just a spectator now. Good luck, Gentleman. I did everything I could.

I sound like this because I have been telling all of this since January, but nobody listened and they called me names Sad
I want to play bitcoin, but the other boys are breaking the game because they don't know how to play Cry
Please, tell them that causing slow downtrends isn't how it's done :''(

WTF?  Are you even invested in BTC?  If so, what's your strategy, just play it by ear and get pissed off at charts?    I keep saying who cares about charts, unless you rely on something that you do NOT understand.  If someone else is relying on something that is less accurate than your method, then more power to you, no?

Of course I'm not invested in BTC. I held BTC more then 24h last time during December 2013. To me, it's madness or stupidity, to be holding coins with this market. My point is that these graphs that are presented are fugazi. They are presented by people who are either incompetent or their goal is to spread false information. This in turn is creating an ugly market and I really wanted for BTC to be pretty.

oh cool we bounced of the 1 day 300 ema Cheesy whatdya know.. I need to get fiat to exchange.. people are getting fleeced out of their coins...well in my opinion they are.. for the first time in a long time buying can lower my avg buy in price Cheesy I think I shall ... mind you I know that I won't be able to cause I got no fiat in the exchange and the chart shows these lows usually = big investors snapping up a huge amount when the volume allows it.

From the article:
Quote
For currency to be adopted as a medium of exchange there has to be trust in the ability to honor the underlying obligation and the ability for central banking policy to control inflation.  Historically the Fed has done a remarkable job maintain an average inflation rate of no greater than 2.5 percent.
Wrong. Just DEAD wrong.
Also, the Privately Owned Federal Reserve Bank has destroyed 98% of the USD value since 1913.

LTC is even more affected by China than BTC. Wouldn't be surprised if it went single digit again.
