This is a model that was designed maybe even 50 years ago, and it has always been problematic, which has obviously happened now. Some speculate that someone may have programmed Jarun (part of Zagreb) instead of Yarun (Ukraine) and that the drone therefore flew all the way to Zagreb. What is amazing is that no country (Romania, Hungary, Croatia) managed to act it before it fell, which means that missile shields and air defenses are worth almost nothing. However, some analysts attribute this to the very heated situation in the Balkans, where part of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Republika Srpska) is trying to join the Republic of Serbia, and has the support of Russia. In recent days, an increasing number of international forces have arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina via Croatia, and the French air force is patrolling over the country. A Balkan barrel of gunpowder could explode at any moment, and it would certainly suit Russia to divert the public's attention from the war in Ukraine.

[...] After watching the link Bob kindly provided... [...] I followed Bob's link, and there's a big hole formed over Ukraine... Also, zooming out, the difference in air traffic density in various regions throughout the world is staggering.

[...] After watching the link Bob kindly provided... [...] I followed Bob's link, and there's a big hole formed over Ukraine... Also, zooming out, the difference in air traffic density in various regions throughout the world is staggering. You have to filter for 'Military' to see the interesting movements (at least those aerial vehicles that have an ADSB transponder active). As a side note: A few days ago I even saw two B52 Stratofortress flying almost same height together, patrolling on the border of Poland/Ukraine and Romania/Ukraine. As far as I can tell from the Wiki page, these are not made for parachuting food rations into refugee camps and that mission was certainly a pretty direct and not very diplomatic message to Russia in response to ole Vladi circling his finger above the red button..

J/k but I seriously wondering how such beast can go undetected for so long.
This is gonna be a great day for Putin's propaganda machine. UKRAINIAN NAZIS ATTACK CROATIA!!! NATO DOESN'T DEFEND!!! JOIN THE GLORIOUS SOVIET EMPIRE! NATO air defense FTW. I bet Estonians are buying toilet paper right now.

Sounds like FUD of the highest order to me. One crypto firm has received lots of queries in the past 10 days from Swiss brokers asking to liquidate billions of dollars of bitcoin because their clients are afraid Switzerland will freeze their assets, one executive said, adding that none of the requests had been for less than $2 billion. Why would you ever cash out of a unseizable asset to protect yourself from being seized. There is some fuckery going on.

car were illegal there for a while too, or, rather, you had to have a representative with a flag running ahead of the car and warning pedestrians (and horses). Boris: "Lovely", "I'm chuffed to bits!"...."bloody well done!"

Just watching this awesome comedy show (think it's called 'EU Versailles summit press conference' or sth). Honorable Secretary 'Zensursula, Flinten Uschi' van der Leyen:
We will phase out the use of Russian oil, gas and coal ... <rethoric silence> First it was; Europe needs to be more independent from Russian energy, they need to do something about it. Now they are talking to eachother to excelerate the process and it is suddenly a ''comedy show'' Do you really think the energy transition will be completed in just a few months with so many countries? Stay realistic, 5 years is fast.

Trendline support @ 38k and then 35k. Way more action support from recent trading at 38... 35 kinda thin. Without major bad news, I do not see how we don't find lows here... 30k BTC pulled off CB Pro. So many fundamental things supporting buying right now.

https://twitter.com/jack/status/1502358737981521925Fingerprints, batteries and people. We’re building a wallet that will be easy to use for everyone. In our first post, we covered how we’re accomplishing this: we’re building a combination of hardware and a mobile application that will let you choose how you want to balance the convenience of using the app for transfers and the security of requiring the hardware for authorizing higher stakes money movement. This means that the hardware is only one part of the experience - in fact, only a small part. Customers will primarily manage their money by interacting with the mobile application we’re building, and will only need to interact with the hardware in combination with the mobile app to authorize larger, less frequent transactions above an amount of their choosing.
For transactions that require using the wallet hardware, we want our customers to be able to unlock their wallets securely, but with ease - an unlikely combination that historically has not existed in the market. We believe PINs, passwords, and seed phrases are confusing and often not secure given the workarounds normal people have to create given all the friction. This compounds when the need for those passwords are more rare.
Instead, to achieve seamless authentication in practice, we plan to incorporate a fingerprint sensor into the wallet hardware. Every authentication technology comes with tradeoffs. We’re excited about the security against theft or misuse that this will provide, the peace of mind that will come from not needing to remember yet another PIN, and the ease of placing a finger on the sensor rather than manipulating tiny, failure-prone buttons on a difficult-to-read screen. We're aware of limitations we'll need to design around - for example, some customers will want to share access to their money without relying only on their fingerprint. As we build the product, we'll evaluate additional access methods that customers could opt into. And of course, fingerprint sensor data will never leave the hardware device. But don’t take our word for it - listen to the independent community that will be able to inspect and verify our source code. Are there other limitations we should be designing around?
Additionally, as we’ve continued to design the hardware component of the wallet, we recently chose to use a rechargeable lithium polymer battery and USB-C port to power the device. We believe this is the best choice for this product, as it optimizes for the best customer experience and design. We shared our thinking and solicited feedback using a SPADE, a decision document format commonly used within Block. You can read more about our decision here.

(hostile actions towards our economy... blah...)
