TBH, I'm too blown out this year for antics or anything. Has been a very tough season on us, and not feeling particularly jovial or otherwise upbeat. Need to catch up on a lot of rest, and some medication changes have left me on unstable ground as I work through side-effects titrating down.

Don't have the time to make an effort for a funny gay Christmas card this year; a lot of developments with trans and gay folk evidently grooming young children has left me very existentially troubled. Just wanna keep all that political crap in the background and not give it too much thought.

Enjoy this shot of a cow on a section of our ranch, tho, from earlier today.

EDIT: Context: We are currently in a lawsuit with the builder, who went behind our backs, held back critical survey information from us, and proceeded to build that concrete road, two feet above grade, when it was not needed. This 2 foot increase in grading has essentially created a small pond area on a part of our landscape in severe rains, which causes flooding upstream, and severe erosion of our banks when the water runs off into the creek, ultimately - We are liable for any damage due to that grade increase - they created a federal issue for us. So, just a bad situation with Phase I, recognizing we were effectively robbed and lied to. Had to work with our ranch partner on getting together all the best local builders in the area - who have local knowledge - to take over the rest of project and fix their fuckups.

The lawsuit is likely to require me to keep a war chest of half a mil liquid, so I'm incredibly aggravated about that.

Oh yeah, and the increase in medication dose I was on, was causing anger problems - ultimately.

Just a really bad time this year.

Exhausted. Rick and I had a tough go of things, and we finally were able to resolve things and reconcile, after recognizing it was my fucking medication causing at least half the problems. Very upset about that detour, but glad to be back on track to becoming my old, stable self.

Take your health seriously folks. We only have one go at it in this form. Always be checking yourself.

Oh, will also be 27 weeks sober come Monday.

The Merit System is not corrupt and is very useful, because from this everyone can see for themselves in terms of how much good contribution they have made to the forum and also how much knowledge has been shared in this forum so that the rewards that come through merit will also be extraordinary when someone can provide the best stuff for this forum.

 It was pretty easy to find - I just looked up his mother's super PAC "Mind the Gap" and checked donation records.  The records contain the zip code of donors - his mother not only a founder but a donor.
