According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I cant decide what to do with the new space above the new garage....  (thank you bitcoin)
A studio to record really bad songs? (Jay and marcus would like that)
An indoor grow room to produce badass, stinky, sticky-icky? (idk, I don't indulge and I currently have a surplus)
Or something I just thought of tonight over a couple of beers...
A billiards table to play billiards or snooker. (not that retarded American eight ball crap)
I kid... I always play eight ball on a pool table. It's what everyone knows.
Albeit, my late dear old dad taught me 3 ball billiards and snooker...the real deal, imo, when it comes to games on a pool billiard table.

And now I'm waiting for my manic trolling Greek buddy to post a big, long flaming toxic diatribe of split up quotes and one line replies he thinks are clever,
designed to bolster his "legend hero* in his own mind" status. (*apparently, he had to start a new account. I cant imagine why...)
As he ages, he will come to realize how foolish his posts are.  Or maybe not, who knows if it's permanent brain damage?

GO BITCOIN

How about a home-pub and microbrewery? I am sure you could easily also fit in a pool table.

Guys for the love of Bitcoin, stop meriting the merit farmers and stop replying to the trolls. If we keep fueling their toxic posting motivation, they will come back in larger numbers.

They don't make -besides a few- great movies/series anymore thanks to the woke, feminism, anti-masculinity and cancel culture.

They will learn it the hard way by going bankrupt ore so, let them rot.

Read books instead.

Agree on those words though I find my series and movies elsewhere instead of reading books..... just not into reading books too much myself

Probably its a known thing about me  Roll Eyes

Summer 2021

12 Eggs ............................ $1.59
Arnold White Bread ............ $4.49
Head of Iceberg lettuce ......  $1.99
Pound of bacon .................  $2.99
Cheddar cheese lb .............  $3.99
total _________________$15.05

18 month time span

At $5.79 per dozen eggs, it's time to switch to hamburgers for breakfast!  ACME has 80/20 ground beef on for $3.99/lb this week.
I put together a table to compare the nutritional content of the equivalent amount of eggs to ground beef with data from the University of Rochester (* data for vitamin D in beef was missing so I got it from another source).  In order to compare equal weights, the data for eggs is extrapolated since the data shown for eggs was based on 1 cup or 4.86 large eggs.

You might want to add a carrot to replace the missing vitamin A and eat your burger outside in the sun for some vitamin D otherwise it's not a bad substitution.

Emmanuil The Christ was born today!

Let’s celebrate people!

https://egoch.org/some-english-texts/why-i-am-an-old-calendarist/

Quote
‘They who audaciously changed the church calendar in our days, assuredly did not take into account the gravity (of the anathemas), and for the sake of astronomy they paid no heed at all to the venerable tradition and spirit of the Church; and though occupying themselves with ecclesiastical matters, they used science only as a pretense to conceal the innovating inclinations that possessed them’. – Patriarch Christopher of Leontopolis 1939 –1966

Quote
This decree has been, by and large, ignored and overturned by the Churches of the West (most particularly, by the Roman Catholic and Anglican Churches, which still profess to follow a liturgical calendar). In all fairness, all Orthodox Churches, even the New Calendarist (with the glaring exception of the Finnish Church), have kept intact this ordering of Pascha (otherwise known as the Paschalion).

Quote
This persecution of Orthodox Christians was unleashed by the very same people who had introduced the new calendar innovation to Orthodoxy, in order to ‘re-kindle and strengthen love among the Churches’.
So, the reason I am an Old Calendarist is very simple: I choose to be so because it is logical to be so. It enables me to be faithful to the traditions of the Church as taught by the Fathers and the subsequent local Councils. Old Calendarism (for all its misadventures) possesses the grace of forming saints and martyrs. Most importantly, the new calendarists have failed to give one good reason why I shouldn’t be so.

I eat lots of beef.

I altered my breakfast.

More beef or pork in the omelets.

Less eggs in the omelets.

More peppers, onions,stringbeans,broccoli,califower.

Same cheese.

I would use 8 jumbo eggs per omelette,I now use four.

I would eat omelette for breakfast and lunch.

It was and still is very low carb thus blood sugar and a1c are stable.

I eat very close to grain free diet.

I also do not eat corn syrup and sugar.

A very small amount of maple syrup. one or two times a week
A small amount of dark chocolate every day.

Walmart sells a decent 16 pack of angus beef 80 percent lean burgers.

I often use a patty in the omelette.

It is about three eggs or $1.50 worth of eggs .

I get a lot of grass feed brisket shipped to my home and slow cook it.

being a diet controlled diabetic is very expensive as you can not eat a ton of cheap food.

I have to limit carrots but I do daily walks and get a lot of sun.

@thepowerfullHRV
$BTC exchanges take your $, but don’t actually have your BTC on their books

Because if this, the BTC price does not reflect actual demand, resulting in a lower BTC price📉

It’s your duty as a #Bitcoin ’er to withdraw coins into cold storage so that price reflects demand📈

I'm not sure what brought this on, rising prices or a desire to eat healthier.  I feel like for me, the rising cost of groceries has made me embrace restaurants.  I feel like prices haven't made it all the way to sit down restaurants yet and as such they are actually a pretty good deal compared to the usual ratio of groceries to eating out.  So I've been getting a whole lot of doordash delivered and eating out quite a bit.  Bucking that trend, on Tuesday of this week I did cook a pound of bacon and sat around eating it all day with a loaf of freshly baked French bread.  It was honestly a really good day.  Smiley

As for the price of Bitcoin.  I've never felt so bullish over a $150 move upward.  Feels like the trading range just broke and we're about to see a leg up.

This is just how I have been lately. My feeding pattern has been mostly eating at restaurants. I do feel guilt though whenever I remember that it costs more eating at a restaurant. It's a habit I am trying to break free from off but sometimes, I just think it cost less than cooking. I have never felt so optimistic about bitcoin's price upward movement than I do right now.

To me it looks perfect for a table tennis table, if you have a company or can invite one easily.
Table tennis (ping-pong) is basically a range of motion exercise, you can improve your agility, etc, etc
I wish I had a space where I can put one up.

If it was me, definitely a music studio, in fact I'm considering converting the garage into one. There wouldn't be enough space above it unless I get a massive dormer I guess. Maybe it's possible.

But what's a studio these days anyway. I guess it depends on what you play. A large desk with good speakers and a super keyboard is all I need. I have that now in one of the down stairs rooms but it feels a bit cramped. Think there would still be space for a pool table if I moved all this to the garage (or above with dormer).

Snooker is ok but it's pretty hard I found when I attempted to play it for a while.

Music setup, pool table, modern arcade machine, outlook onto the garden. I think it would be nice.
