There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

A few big early morning pumps and following that back to anaemic volume, no cause for celebration
LTC hasn't followed much, which is a cause for concern as it usually follows btc at greater percentage!  Look how many alt coins there are now and look at some of the gains that they are experiencing. Why would you invest in LTC that has stayed in a 0.015 range since March? Especially when its only selling point is speed. I'm very curious to see what'll become of LTC. Perhaps we'll see a second mover advantage hanging in there or maybe it'll just be eaten alive by the tidal wave of new coins. |

it all feels a little chew chewy if you ask me. Not because of a couple of buys, but because I just really think the bears have nothing left, and people are always gonna want BTC.

I hate making prediction.. as i am usually always wrong.. but it's nice to watch a few buy pushing the price in the right direction.

I like a rally as much as the next guy - but I would prefer slow and steady growth over a sustained period.
....However. There's nothing wrong with a rally every day over a sustained period!
That also works for me.

Its crazy to imagine that this rally could be caused by a billionaire trying to get a nice stake in bitcoin.
Could be Bill Gates or bankers buying in for all we know. Beauty of scarcity.
It could also have something to do with the large gas deal between China and Russia. And people losing faith in the dollar.

Logarithmic long term downtrend line just broke for the first time since March and only second time since Nov. 3 day MacD has 5 green candles.
Possible end of long term down trend and start of next bubble?

Yup! I did that too. Bought them for $1. Watched them rise to $4. Sold them at $2. Bought some at $40 (still got them) - Bought some more at $14 (Still got them) Now... meh! Wish I'd kept to Bitcoin exclusively! I'm not going to sell them - I'm just gonna keep them for 12/24 months. |
