The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

The smaller SEPA withdrawals <€500 seem to go through fast but I am really curious what the latest date is that someone received a larger SEPA withdrawal.
My withdrawal is from 17 Jan and still hoping that I have it by end of this month.

I have received 10k euro yesterday. The withdrawal was placed in the queue at MtGox on 2 Jan.

This is really valuable information. So, the above-threshold SEPA queue is at 47 days. Should shorten a bit before stalling again at the end of January if my hunch is correct.

It will definitely shorten as lots of people have cancelled FIAT withdrawals and bought the cheap mtgox btc.

WTF ? there are still people left in the Sepa queue ? I´d happily pay everybodys balance out subito - just cancel your

Euro withdrawl please PM me and tell me your account number !

I am interested. How can you do that?

Best regards,

mtgox is in japan. going by regular days is an inaccurate count. look up a japanese calendar and count BUSINESS DAYS.

According to Gox (who I'm not fully trusting, by the way) the SEPA schedule is not affected by Japanese holidays (or any other holidays). Of course the payments only go through on weekdays (unless you have an account at the same Polish bank as Gox has) but their quota should be valid for every day, 365 days a year.

Let's see: Italy says now 20% tax on all inbound funds for everyone.

they are going to cancel that shit: so far it's been just postponed for a few months, but they probably realized they were crossing the line as they heard the approaching mob with pitchforks

Money is a hoax. Debt is slavery. Consumerism is toxic.

It's not a 20% tax on incoming wires. It's a 20% withhold.

You can get rid of it with a simple self-certification. (they already have the modules).

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

JUST A QUICK REMINDER:

https://www.mtgox.com/press_release_20130704.html
Statement on Resumption of Withdrawals and Improved Banking

      TOKYO - JAPAN - July 4th, 2013

      Dear Mt. Gox Merchants,

Mt. Gox is happy to announce that global account withdrawals have now fully resumed as of today, after several days of testing our new system for processing transactions. We want to keep you informed about our progress in this arena, and especially assure our customers that their funds are accessible.

Progress in the Previous Two Weeks
While we announced that there would be a temporary hiatus on withdrawals, during our testing over the past two weeks we managed to process over $1,000,000 USD to customers. As this required a great deal of manpower and was not a perfect solution, we are quite happy with the progress made despite the conditions.

      New Banking Partners
Mt. Gox has now formed relationships with several new banking partners both in Japan and around the world, and we are still in the process of finalizing even more. This means that we will have increased stability and ability to transmit withdrawals going forward.

      Current Back-log
The new system is just now getting under way, so there is still a back-log of withdrawals that we need to process. Our team is working hard to increase transaction speeds, but there is approximately a two-week back-log we need to overcome. It will take a few weeks to get back to normal, and we thank you for your patience during this time.

      Moving Forward
We at Mt. Gox are proud to be one of the first advocates and entrepreneurs in this growing ecosystem, but much still needs to be accomplished to bring trust and stability to a mass market. In addition to our improved withdrawal system and new trading engine, we are very excited about the innovation happening across our industry and around the world. Despite the hiccups, these are exciting times and we are eternally grateful for your confidence and support along this bumpy road.

Regards
Mt.Gox Co. Ltd Team.

WE ARE STILL WAITING..

THIS ^.

I was there and had funds when they made this claim and never got my fiat out from them. I had to cancel the withdrawal, buy BTC, and withdrawal BTC.

Looks like we have this to look forward to. Expect BTC withdrawals to take 6+ weeks from the time it is initiated. lol

Bloodbath started an hour ago, whats the news?

my guess is gox insolvent - when gox btc hits zero, the active exchanges will then creep back up.
just a wild guess.
