Ugh, one of my APW5 PSU's gets burning hot to the touch within a few minutes of plugging it in. I don't feel comfortable running a PSU like that, so one of my L3+'s is just sitting there, it is really hard to look at. Unless I can get it running with a Lepa 1600 watt, will have to count how many 6 pin connectors it has.
Otherwise, first person to offer $3k for it gets it.
Don't bother with the LEPA 1600W power supply. It's garbage. If you're going to spend money just get the one Antminer makes/recommends or if going with a computer PSU get a name brand like EVGA or Corsair. |

I would go with EVGA. https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=120-G2-1000-XRThis has 8 PCI-E power plugs, so I would also get a well made PCI-E power splitter to have power for the controller board. |

Hashnest is unreliable but they at least try to make it reliable Annoyingly they still haven't yet updated the app for the L3 which is very frustrating. I have to go to the desktop site in my phone to buy some which makes it a lot slower. |

buy an apw3 from ebay EDIT: you probably don't have 208/220v huh? Nope, that is what I was originally going to do, but can't plug it in in the states. I'm using some Corsair Ax1500i for mine. |

Hashnest is unreliable but they at least try to make it reliable Usually they are very reliable - support works quite fast if you really needs them |

I've heard in the past they were legit. Lately, I've heard not so much..in the sense if they get burned on not getting something they say they have in stock they burn you for it. I'd not buy from them now. Talk to eastshore...they sent our BTC back when bitmain pulled out L3 order back....probably the same price now so I go thru them but truth be told......I got a July order of ONE for the heck of it (25% off equip depr applied towards taxes) because with scrypt $$$ so much I'm making needed such) have 4 L3's beg of month and 4 L3+'s on May 15th batch...so wtf one more wont' matter) so I figure a July order will work in 10-11 months or bitmain puts them out like toasters and we are all doomed anyway (or at least July orders) so wtf 1,300 bucks is better then the 1,800 bucks they would want now for such (more or less) but me, I'm out ...last bitmain I'm getting till I see if it is 'toaster city" into August or not after July batches (3 batches I heard so far in July) thus it is a bet by me 1) above views 2) they will run out of chips and need a month or two to regroup 3) they will put a lag in for their own mining but in truth they probably want to own the scrypt-pow network like bitcoin mining network to the point it is only profitable to them to mine in their own data halls....but anyway my views on this (befuddled thou they are)  |

I was told yes. (my L3's and 2 of may 15th L3+'s of 4 ..the rest today ....are mining on www.litecoinpool.org...same as old knc titans that only seem to really,really like the site) But....I know of folk running these on nicehash and other multipools....I'd guess it varies by specific coins mined directly..but have heard they are a lot less picky then my knc titans. I may mine..other coins but at 3150mh of ROI'd Titans and 3550mh (with JULY 1 L3+) .....well hell...but at 30 buck LTC and seg witness not even activated yet that seems a bit 'silly' Litecoin..has been berry,berry good to me...... So have not done much else (or see a lot of will to do so) trying other scrypt pow alts with litecoinpool being free and paying at 103%....and rock stable.....the whim has not moved me yet. (whim...perhaps I should start using the royal 'we' in my conversations......this kicking ass and 30 buck LTC may be going to my head) |

anyone getting this from Fedex? Description provided is insufficient to classify commodity.
Recommended action:
Shipper or Importer must provide a more detailed description of goods. I called them up and gave them the closest HS Commodity Code I could find. still no change in 12 hours. It was supposed to be delivered this morning. |
