All know about how quality and talented from Frankie de Jong when playing with Barcelona and Ajax Amsterdam, but Primer League have drastically different culture and games style, I doubtful wit De Jong can he adapt with Primer League games play? Ten Hag got it all wrong against Brighton. He doesn’t understand the premier league teams too well. I was expecting Eriksen to sit in the midfield with both Fred and Mctominay as the press resistant midfield to support them in recycling possession and helping them to hold down the ball because of how Brighton had lineup with 4 ball playing midfielders in the midfield. Instead he decided to play in as a false 9, leaving Bruno in the midfield with them. It just didn’t go as plan. Imo, Barcelona have always wanted to sell Frankie De Jong, but they are yet to do that because Frankie doesn't want to move to Manchester United (the club that is interested), and Frankie is owed quite a lot of money by Barcelona, all of these made things complicated, the reason why there's been quite a lot of uncertainties surrounding Frankie and if he will stay in Barcelona or leave.

Having said that, with Chelsea now in the picture, Frankie might prolly be interested in moving to Chelsea, they are in the Champions League and they are a much better team than Manchester United right now, the problem now could be Frankie's owed wages. looks like the news i saw on twitter Sky sports premier league which was tweeted about 4 hours ago where chelsea almost reached an agreement with barcelona in the transfer of de jong. but there is still no certainty for De Jong who does not want to leave Barca. With a pay cut, I wonder why didn't accept Chelsea's offer which I thought was good enough for Barca and De Jong.
