Congrats to Chelsea for finishing the Cucurella transfer quickly after Manchester City's unsuccessful attempt for him. He is hopefully worth the sum Chelsea have spent to sign him. They would sell one of the left-backs in the team now most probably. That one can really be Marcos Alonso. Actually he is a really good player for Chelsea still. But maybe Alonso himself wants to leave then the team wouldn't have too much chance to do about that. After this transfer we will see who Manchester City will go for.

Manchester City had previously been eyeing Cucurella as a replacement for Zinchenko who moved to Arsenal, but the high price asked by Brighton made Manchester City withdraw from negotiations, the need for defense made Chelsea not hesitate in meeting the demands demanded by Brighton, the arrival of Cucurella will certainly make the chelsea defense improve after previously they had lost several defenders and seeing the many chelsea players leaving it looks like Cucurella will not be the last recruit for chelsea in this summer transfer market.

Rumors has it that Aubameyang could be on his way to the bridge and it seems Thomas Tuchel welcomes the idea to reunit with his former striker. Hopefully we can get him to sign the papers to come become a blue.

I am not going to be surprised if Aubameyang actually ends up playing for Chelsea. The inclusion of the new world-class striker Robert Lewandowski in the team means Aubameyang will have a lot less game time in my opinion. Unless of course, Robert Lewandowski faces any injuries.

And I personally think that Aubameyang staying in Barcelona is going to be a waste of talent. I think Chelsea can find this player playing for them because Barcelona needs money right now. If Chelsea is able to make Barcelona a convincing offer, they will accept it.

It is true that Barcelona is in financial trouble. But still they are spending a huge amount of money to recruit star players. It is not yet clear how their funds are coming. But I heard they are raising funds through they sell their shares. Joan Laporta has yet to say anything to the media about how he is raising such a large fund. But Barcelona is forced to cut player wages, yet I don't understand why they are wasting money by adding extra players to the squad.

As far as i know Barcelona has sold TV rights, a share of their merchandise brand, and recently also their own TV channel Barca TV. For all those assets combined they got around 600 Million € if the reports are true, which sounds like a huge amount of money at first glance, but Barca had 1,3 Billion € of debts which means they would still have 700 Million of debts if they would have used all of that 600 Million to pay back their creditors.
Of course Barca is not using that money to pay back their debts, they just keep on buying new players which is absolutely crazy to me. They had to sell their TV channel this week because otherwise they would not have even be able to register their new players Kounde and Lewandowski and they still keep on buying players. Absolutely crazy and irresponsible.

I don't know of any other team that has taken on as much debt as Barcelona. Barcelona is still heavily in debt. They made a lot of money by selling shares but they didn't repay the loan. I think Chelsea are up for every competition they are fazed with this season, the transfer might not have met your expectation but I don't think that's what they question should be, the question rather should do you think they are better off with their signings so far this season, I would say Yes, Koulibaly is a top-tier defender, and Sterling is also a master of his own artistry, Cucurella might still have a lot of points to prove, but the Sterling and Koulibaly have shown their level of football over the years and their experience will come in handy for Chelsea.

Barcelona don't need to be in a hurry for signing new players at the moment. Because they have already made many signings so far. They have strengthened many positions in the team therefore I even doubt that they would sign many more players. Maybe they can go for some back transfers but we will find out about that.
