What surprised me the most was the attitude of Barcelona fans towards this incident which was from Barcelona leadership. They should have spoken out against the way the De Jong case was handled to protect the Barcelona image. But they silently supported the Barcelona leadership and even hassled De Jong, telling him to lower his salary. Is this how Barcelona going to apply pressure on their players from now on? Lower your salary or goes? Will this hurt their reputation for any new contract signed under Barcelona?

Thomas Tuchel is now pressuring Chelsea owner Todd Boehly into making a good offer and fight to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, having lost Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner this summer.

Aubameyang is definitely better than Ronaldo. Ronaldo's performance in the Premier League last season was not enough good. Moreover, Ronaldo is now almost 38 years old. At this age it is very difficult to maintain fitness consistently in a competitive league like the Premier League. And so Aubameyang is a better fit for the Chelsea squad than Ronaldo.

Right now Manchester United does not have anything to show in order to attract new players. They don’t have a positive record in the last two seasons, and they also don’t have the capability of playing in the Champions League this season. And to add insult to injury, they have lost the first match of the Premier League against Brighton. This is a team that they should have been able to beat quite easily. Right now they will only be able to bring in players who are extremely passionate about playing for Manchester United. And I don’t see any players expressing that attitude right now. Cristiano Ronaldo did that and he is suffering because of that.

If Liverpool don't take a creative measures, they might end up desperately wanting a Midfielder but with Jurgen Klopp pattern of play, it will affect them because his strategy and goals comes from Midfielders who give creative passes and Thiago Alcantara happens to be on that list. Harvey Elliot signing long term with Liverpool is a good start of him, and Klopp's would be using him as substitution in the second half. They will not be able to rely on much reliability if they are making this change in my opinion. I think they will be able to find a competent player who can replace him for this amount of money but will he be as effective as Tonali?

Yes, that's a good point - too many people act mean. And if I don’t have any particular complaints about the fans (they turn a blind eye to the antics of their favorite club), then I don’t understand why other players don’t show any solidarity? Barcelona is acting like a scammer who took out a loan to pay another loan and is trying to put all the blame on the players. Money beats anything in football. I think if Arsenal can meet Milan's asking price for Sandro Tonali, they won’t hesitate to sell him. Besides Arteta has said that he's looking for more reinforcements. He needs someone to play beside Thomas Partey. And not just any midfielder, a ball playing midfielder. Considering his age, I am convinced that Arsenal can pay anything to bring him to the Emirates. Tonali is considered one of the brightest prospects in Italian football and would be a good addition to Arteta's team.
