I wouldn't order anything from klondikedesign.com if I were you (not sure why the store is still up...). Chris still owes me over 8BTC. Anyone hear from him lately?

Yes, that would be nice. I haven't been pushing the issue too hard as I wanted to give him ample time to recover from his accident. I see that he was last active on 2/11 and his latest posts seem coherent enough that he could work this out. If anyone has received a refund or is owed a refund from Chris' online store, feel free to post your experience here.

Given the recent activity in the community it would be nice to be reassured there are still honest players interested in its long-term success.

After numerous unanswered emails and PMs, I have little confidence that Chris (Bkkcoins) is going to issue the remaining refunds. I do not believe he set out to steal anyone's money, but that is where we are now.

To those new to the thread, Chris is a Canadian expat living in Thailand, and was the creator of the Klondike K16 design. He sold boards and parts sourced from Thailand, using the site www.klondikedesign.com. Unfortunately the project fell down when Yifu Guo was late in delivering the ASIC first-gen chips. Yifu eventually issued refunds and managed to salvage what little reputation he had left. Regardless, this left many manufacturers using Chris' design in an unfortunate position.

Chris' site, www.klondikedesign.com has been up until early this year, and even took this poor guy's money long after the project had been abandoned.

On 11/20, Chris claimed to be involved in a motorcycle accident, seen here. After his recovery, he was active in the community despite his customers' pleas, emails and private messages to issue refunds. His last post can be seen here, showing a mental capacity that would not prohibit him from this task.

I'd like to start gathering information about who was granted refunds and who is still owed refunds. Personally, he owes me over 8BTC.

I personally sent a few BTC to BKK for support, and purchased 100 programmed PIK's that were never rdelivered.
I understand the man had an accident, so I hope my money can help him I do not want them back.

You were keen to use the result of his design work ( I mean real PCB design , not WASP) , to run BPMC.

1.wuzmarine -who got his hardware had troubles that were resolved and in the end apolgised us
2. Mr bick than never did busines with us. He is just hater.
3. 2 members of my GB that got refunded and cry for the 7 percent tax refund
4. You that did not folow GB rules and since then post maybe 100 negative posts in any tread you can think of.
5.jtod that got his hardware and sold it here in the forum
6. One other customer with wro g shiping that got refund
7. Btcniner84 that have to deliver chips to us for assembly service.
That is all.
I do not owe mo ey to any of them by the rules of the deals between us

Why don't you contact all these people and ask them to remove the negative trust?
Very easy to do, just send them a PM (you know like you should have sent me before you robbed my money) and ask them to remove the negative feedback.

Or you just got mad because your plans for making money on bkk back have been destroyed because of his disappearance?
Do you know how much sleepless  nights bkk was having just to make this project?
Do you know that he made it not because of your miserable license fee that he would eventually receive from your business, but that he made it for us and give inspiration to so many folks here?
And finally I am not going to speculate here but I think bkk has some serious personal issues to deal with. When he goes thru e them he will show up again and he will bring his gratitude to you for you negative rating.
