The only one that likely to work like that is possibly a Gen2 Avalon. Definitely not BitFury. If I were doing a BitFury board, which I'd like to, then I'd redesign as there are major differences in almost every way.

There's some errors in K1 Nano package footprints on a few parts. I'm going to review them again before posting a parts list update or board revision. Looks like a few parts have 0603 pads for 0402 parts, which is probably workable but not ideal.

My K1 boards have now arrived in Bkk and I should be going to get them within a few days. I'll need to cut them down before packing and shipping.

Well 80 TH were from avalon batch 2 and 3 bfl has supposedly been back door selling its mini rig and the chinese are also making avalon chips.....
Though im bummed about my btc loss i still do not regret following the diy crowd

HIM got it's BFL units shipping yesterday so a few units may be shipping out now and then

I'm a bit bummed about how things have gone, and not as focused on getting all my boards made as I should be. I either need a holiday or some good news on chip shipments. I'm quite tired but will get back to it soon.

You and me both. I've got my reflow/hot air workstation all ready to go, the parts organized, and no eta on chips. That combined with all the negativity here about Avalon and a scary difficulty jump soon is making it hard to stay positive. But thank you for the work you've put in so far--the community owes you a debt of gratitude even if they don't seem very gratuitous at the moment. Anyway it's nice to hear marto's good news, let's hope for more in the coming days.

Thanks for the replies. I've managed to order stock from aamarket's suggestion (funny when I checked Farnell they were out of stock!).
I've got the rest on back order with 4 -8 week lead times, which I guess isn't too bad considering I don't have chips in hand yet (but from the news this morning it seems samples are arriving with the group buy organisers)

Actually I'm in the early stages working on a K1 port for BitFury's chips (I'm calling it for the moment Project NanoFury). I'm planning on having the finished PCB have the exact same dimensions and heatsink holes as BKK's K1 (so that any plastic/lids/heatsink designs can be reused). It is going to be 1BF chip USB2.0 based solution so that it fits in the 500mA, which means that I may have to underclock the chip slightly. It should still do around 2GH/s though, possibly with the benefit of less heat.
I'm planning on replacing the PIC with another chip which will be $1-2 more expensive but will save me some time as I'll have less software to deal with (at least initially). I guess I should probably start my own separate thread so that we don't get off-topic here. I don't know if there will be any interest at all though.

And about that KiCAD .. what a pain! I've wasted more time trying to do simple things there than doing actual design and testing... and I thought switching from Protel/Altium to Eagle was painful...

And kudos to BKK again for all the great work!

In burnin board with OC work 431Mhs - 54, 48, 1.30V, 87W, stable

If I've done well the calculations change R2-R12 from 7'5K to 6'04K 1,2956V

I think this will improve hasing specs of the board.

I haven't thought about this yet but ideally an 0603 size trimmer pot could be found. I don't even know if such a thing exists. I'll leave it up to users if they want to change that part and experiment. Note, that power use is far beyond what the IR3895 can handle so you would have to reduce the ASICs/board.

Could I please trouble you for a compiled hex file (if that's allowed) that I can pump into the unit to test.  I didn't see one in the repo.  I do have MPLAB and an ICD3.

I've applied power to the board and no problems there.

There should be a hex file in github but it's probably just compiled for whatever I was testing last - which would be 1 bank of 4 chips. I haven't updated it recently. I should do a few edits for 16 chips and compile and post a new version. I'm probably going to be running out of my own trial also. I don't recall the date now. On github the hex file resides in the /firmware/Klondike.X/dist/K16/production directory. I'll look this evening at doing a default 16 chip hex file and pushing it to github. I really do need to get some time in on the firmware now.

I don't have Windows here at all so can't immediately help with that. Hopefully there's someone out there who has compiled it for Windows.

Hi everybody,

I have compiled the cgminer-klondike version (pulled from bkk github) following the windows-build.txt file. It´s working in my desktop PC hashing with my GPU because I don´t have any USB hardware to test (I´m be waiting my K16 boards from Steamboat). I installed too in my laptop and it´s working without hashing (not a good GPU on it) only looking at the pool (BTC Guild).

I gues it may be useless to share the cgminer binaries, because it must be compiled in each PC (with all the dependencies, MinGW, etc). Am I wrong?
