The most profitable mining for 1080 ti now is Skunk Nicehash paying minimum $5/day
5 a day per card? 5 USD = 4,25425106 EUR... I'm doing 6+ eur at hashrefinery. Skein and Nist 5. Edited: Oh yeah, 6 EUR = 7.05177 USD

Can someone tell me whats the best Miner for Skein current ? Iam using Alexis, but a read that Sniffdogs should be better. But in fact its worse Is there a better miner for 1080ti out there ? SniffDog is a tool that switches miners. Alexis is a miner launched by SniffDog to mine. Why use anything else? Never had better hashrates than when using Alexis. And stable too. And it's optimised for 1080 ti by Fromage. Pls provide more accurate (tech) info. Thanks.

... testing Alexis giving me a profits which equals to hashrate, just over longer period of time.
Sure 'bout that? Normally its the pool that causes this. Sorry, got something wrong, was thinking about Tanguy CCminer. Well AFAIK, pool dont see hashrate, only calculate it basing on weight of submitted share. So sometimes my rig send BIG BIG shares, which got counted as if I was submiting 1.5 GH, sometimes shares are so pathetic it goes to 300 MH, still over period of time, effective hashrate is close to this reported on miner (so I dont see any overestimation in Alexis78 miner on local side, it really can squize up to 1GH from single 1080ti on skein).

Sharing some tips with you. I am currently mining Coimatic 2.0, Solaris and Signatum. No need to hide my "game" There really aren't that much people mining, atleast with 1080 ti's as you would think. Hopefully we can support each other and share some good info. And yes, forget the whattomine.

Meanwhile they are using open source miners that are free and coming here for free information. It blows my mind how some people act like information doesn't flow both ways. We all were beginners at mining at some point.

@evil monkey The ONLY PSU i have personally found that will allow enough power and cables for x6 1080ti (250 watt versions), is the 1600 watt Rosewill Hercules watch for them at a good price, PSU prices over 1300 watts have gone nuts Other than that, keep in mind you can get a server PSU kit for way cheaper, i get mine from parallel miner, wish i would have went server model off the bat way cheaper, and rated for continuous loads much better than ATX's 6 cards would require 18 PSU cables. It really doesn't look like there is 18 cables there. Those might be 1070's or something. ok well im only running it right NOW and OWN the PSU, but hey what do i know? haha and people wonder why 1/2 the time us vets dont even bother giving you guys info... OK well have fun on your dual PSUs like nubs do then

How would you mine with a small minning farm?
I build a mining farm with 10 Rigs. 1 Rig has 8x 1080TI. But i'm still not sure what's the best way to mine.
Do you have any software, GUI or Miningsoftware you can recomend for this project?
Thanks

LOL sounds like maybe you should build 1 rig with a couple of cards if you are clueless about the software. I love these bombastic posts from people claiming they $70,000 farms but need direction on the best coin to mine.

When you have one rig, its easy to switch between the coins and pools. But when you have more rigs, you need something stable. I think it takes a lot of time to scan the market every day and set all you rigs to new pools or coins.

What do you think ? Yes maybe it is a dead coin, maybe not. Dev seems to be really busy and don't have time to post. Who knows... My thoughts about mining in general is that you can go with the safe options or then you take risks there and here. If you want really a safe option, then mine only Zcash. But if you want to keep eye for some bigger cash then you have to be willing to mine early coins. Some of them will rise up in price, some of them not.
