right now single units from Germany have a over 100% mark up in price..... crazy!!! i get that sending single units can be a pain but not so much every single orser needs over 100% profit.

Hang on, I've been using 0.07BTC per Eruptor and 330 MH/s as a base for estimating the cost efficiency of most everything else, and so far have only found one unit that's truly for sale that actually beats it.
I see the same way as you, but I'm curious to know what you found that has a better BTC/hash rate (well, this week

If you buy any of these with fiat you will probably get your money back if BTC price increases. BTC is not chasing hardware any longer though.

M how many times people have to counter with 'how many bitcoins can you buy on a credit card??' well if you can buy miners on credits cards (0% intro rate of course) but not bitcoins how can one say 'you should of just bought bitcoins with your money instead of miners' understand now why people still rate increase of BTC as part of their ROI?

Yes, that whole concept of not reaching ROI because just holding coins would have offered better returns really does not preclude people from attaining a profit in pure dollar terms.
There is always something that could have gotten you better returns. The only question to be answered is whether you personally end up with more of anything than what you started with. If yes, then you win.

worth remembering too youll end up with hardware (diminshing resale value perhaps, but nonetheless a physical item It's the only reason I bought a BE, cost me roughly £10 after deducting earnings and at the rate BTC is going today it might actually return more than I paid in GBP once converted from BTC. I bought it thinking I would make 50% back, actually got 80% so far.

It's an awesome product, but not cost-effective for mining BitCoin anymore... still fun and I still have a set running, though! (Just a warning for people paying $50 for these off amazon).

Happy Anniversary, Block Erupter USB!Congratulations to Bitfountan/ASICMiner for creating one of the most, if not the single most, successful pieces of Bitcoin mining hardware to be made. I still have some of them for sale. If anyone of the new bitcoiners is interested in a piece of history, send me a PM
