Probably, you will be able to see: there is no progress. No progress at all.

What an appreciative comment to all those who are spending their last bit of free time to code at the moment Roll Eyes

Btw: Coralreefer and I have started to port the entire logic of xel_miner to java and suggest an approach without any supernode-centralization and without any guard nodes.
I want to point out the word "suggest". What some people seem to misunderstand: we are not "hired" and we do not work for any "company". We just code and suggest algorithms, which the community (for example unvoid) may add into the mainnet or not.

I clearly typed. Yes, developers work hard and do a lot of work.
No progress can be seen from the outside.
What is wrong?

I wouldn't mind to upset developers in any way.
Or do we have anything new to see and test?
I can't see any working sample except those Bitcoin youtube video.
Correct me, if I am wrong.

And there are always guys who bought in at a price they are consider optimal and
sitting and waiting while their investments will double-triple-quadruple... to dump them back into btc.
Absolutely blind to any facts.
Common, btc is falling, crypto markets are falling, why should XEL being in close development state skyrocket? Wake up, guys.

Nobody cares what you think.  You have been here for 5 minutes and seem to have little idea of what has happened so far.

@yugu: what's your point? Do you want XEL to crash or not?

I don't want XEL to be advertised, as I am waiting for a price crash as a buyer  Grin

Whoops looks like the price doesn't need me to go down  Wink

Might consider buying this again at 2k sats Wink
That's not gonna happen ever  Grin
Consider taking it all for free. Same chances.

@yugu: what's your point? Do you want XEL to crash or not?
My point is changing and floating, not a constant.  Wink

If you are so interested in it. For the moment I am interested in price crash and I see it's gonna happen, so, I am waiting.

Unlike majority of aggressive investors in this thread that are only waiting the price rocket to dump their coins,
I am really interested in XEL's success, as I am going to use its computational power.
So, I am waiting for the project progress and for the price crash to buy that power cheaper.

Actually, I am one of those who create real demand for XEL and provide its price and capitalization growth,
unlike shitty buy-cheap-sell-high investors.

I am the real user who is ready to spend dollars in exchange to computational time.
If there are any similar projects that will provide it sooner and in case of future competition cheaper, I will go there and buy there.
Good luck with one day trading, price-rise prayers.

My apologizes to devs if I was too rude.

Why don't you go and pay for Amazon/Azure/Google Cloud then? There are HPC cluster solutions developed by major companies pumping money into development and I believe it gives far better experience and usage than some mighty-tool released by small group of developers. I mean I am all in for something called distributed computer but with the current (no) funding scheme what are the chances for success and how does the final product compare to available industry standard solutions?

While I wish luck to all involved, I don't see many chances for products like Golem, Elastic or others to survive in the long run. There is no stable platform, nor workload available. And with resources assigned to this project, how long shall we wait.. Year? 10 years?

Price is unacceptably high.

I don't know, I believe such projects can survive.
Think of the price, as electricity costs +20%, the price will be very competitive.
No any centralized provider is able to compete from the point of price.
They need to count hardware costs, here you shouldn't, ppl are going to sell their idle power that would be lost otherwise.

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

İt is going to be impossible to see these prices in few weeks. Good time to accumulate this coin. This project is great and has big potential for the future.

I agree. The fear of a possible chainsplit is real and effecting all alts. Expecting a good rise beginning in august

I have sold all my coins as soon as it entered to bittrex ecchange, and when i see today´s price i see that it was the right move. Now, i am trying to buy when i see a good price. This is basically becaus i want to become a XEL holder again. It has a good future and this price is definetely way below its potential.

Great news! We (as a community) are greatfull that you guys pushing this project to next phase. I hope someday we  can use elastic  for science.

With just a mere 1005 coins your forging power is basically nothing against other accounts, and even if you'll forge block (from time to time), chances are that it won't contain fees :-(
However, your node is helping the network, so don't shut it down. Try buying more coins, and wait for computation part, so you can make profits from mining.

Thx! I thought so but wasn't sure. Don't want to loose my precious XEL Smiley
I have to set my account info now I guess after this message: Set account info, send a message, buy an alias, send XEL, because my public key has not been published yet.
When I set my account info it says I have an unknown account.

Setting Account info is not necessary.

Send a small amount first to test.
