My advise:
If you want to render blender stuff, get some Golems.
If you want to solve problems that you can express in ElasticPL, get some XELs.
If you want to invest, go to the stock exchange

Both are similar and different. They adress 2 types of problems (see the answer below)

That said, Golem has a mk 5x the one of XEL.
There is no reason for that besides the early hype that GNT got. XEL has therefore more potential imho.
Again, I can totally be wrong. With alts, nothing is simple, nothing is logic.

Probably first thing I will openly say I disagree with EK on. Avoid stock market if your pure speculative investor. Just buy some $XEL, better off establishing a risk free position and holding long term. This puppy has legs.

Xel is getting ready to be added to a major chinese exchange, where that exchange is buying lots of xel for said exchange. While xel is first mover in their market, is no 1 in what they do, it seems as though therell be better buys on xel once it actually gets on next exchange.

Is there any real example of solving problems expresses in ElasticPL that is economically efficient? We saw an example of a bitcoin miner, but obviously it is not economically efficient.

What I'm worrying about is that there are no real use cases for Elactic - everything will be economically inefficient.

It was a bit oversold, because ICO price was 600 satoshi and people sold tons of nearly free elastic from ICO. Elastic is going to have a working product soon (not sure if it can compete with supercomputers in datacenters, most likely no) in which case the fair market cap should be at least 50-100M, up to 200M. That's just because a lot of projects that don't have a working product cost a lot more.
