Actually, nobody knows what is the current state of development, so the only thing to do is waiting, or help in the development.
Hopefully coralreefer or EK will come up with an update soon.

Well if you check the price chart for last 2 months, you will see that this pump&dump rollercoaster, in 10-15k sat range, happening almost every week.

That is true, a lot of manipulation and accumulation going on by whales but it is so awesome for day trading. A lot of noobs are going to get burnt by bots before the next update by the devs. 270 BTC buy orders, it was 150 yesterday and I expect it to go back to 150 tomorrow with a slighy drop for more accumulation, so much manipulation.

What's happening though? I've noticed that the trading volume goes up and down a lot, but the day before yesterday it dropped to 210 btc in the morning (morning in europe and volume according to bittrex) and now it's been on 1100-1300 BTC for a few days.
Is this what defines a pump and dump or is it somehow gaining momentum?

It would be really nice if the gentlemen who mention there is no visible progress, would actually spend the required time to check the facts before they make such claims (these things are visible for you to check and see).
If you want to be taken seriously, don't you think you should at minimum try to satisfy your curiosity with available data before you speak?

Well, although you're probably right that github shows signs of progress, I'd actually support those who would appreciate a human-readable explanation of what all those lines of code mean in practice. Just a short description of the direction in which the project is heading now would be nice (from time to time).

some kind of blogupdate in here would be nice too help more people to keep up with the development I agree. But either way there will be FUD and complains. So I can totally understand it right now

I got an issue with the wallet.
I opened it and saved the phrase (of course)

and I also can log in with my adress+ passphrase

but it tells me always I have to make a outgoing transaction to be on the blockchain.

Here comes the issue...no matter if I try to send a message, change my profile or anything else... It tells me my Passphrase is incorrect.
I even tried copy it in...always says incorrect.

Logged out and logged in again...here the passphrase works.

Did anybody have this problem before?

(it shows my account transaction incoming but doesn't count it as actual balance also)

The only problem about XEL is that the current developers picked up the open source where the original dev left it and now they are working on it but what if they get tired and move on? What happens to the development of XEL?
