Just under 20 mins till pre-order time. There seems to be alot of people on the fence about the purchase. I am going to put in an order. At the price of 1 video card (700MHash), it's not bad to get 4.5GHash. I'll just sell one of my cards and reinvest into ASIC. Would be nice to get a ROI, but even just to get into it and see what it's all about is fun. Paying a flat rate for power so anything it generates will be profit. There are many other projects out there based on the Klondike board so I am not too concerned about drivers development since others will be in the same boat.

Point I don't get is; it makes no difference to Terrahash if they open the order books, right now, or after a respected member of the forum has verified them in person and they have a working Klondike, which is apparently only moments away, anyway. The only people it makes a difference to is you, as you're being asked to pay now, not before the aforementioned could be easily proven.

Whatever you do pay by credit card, this is an unnecessary risky purchase Terrahash could go further to avoid...

But they allow paypal which is buyer protection, for example, I'll use an AMEX through paypal...credit card fraud isn't something to be trifled with.

I drove down to their office and made a 4 hour round trip yesterday from Sonoma. They weren't hesitant at all about me coming by.  I saw the sample board with my own eyes. The avalon chips looked exactly like the ones I saw at Bitcoin 2013 in san jose. I discussed their hosted solution and they're using a data center right down the street from them. My DXs will be sitting in a cage in an area of silicon valley that does offer inexpensive commercial power. I'm going to go ahead and take the plunge and have a good feeling about it.

4 hour round trip.... WOW.. .Please show us the pictures!  you do own a camera right?
