Pictures of the pick and place machine you ordered ? reflow oven ?

No thought not !

Come down here I'll give you a tour of the facility.

Good luck getting a troll to face facts.

The facts is terra has stated things and then contradicts himself. Reminding him of his previous postings, so others can read them, is not trolling..

If you guys don't want to see them there is an ignore button your welcome to use.

On a positive note, I recognize he is at last postings some useful contribution in the BKK thread and this is welcome.

Although "we" have a policy here to not feed the trolls, but I will try to put this discussion to rest:

1. Knightlife did call in advance that day, but that was the first time he had called and "we" had no idea what his number is, in case you think we avoided his call on purpose. I was expecting him here today (Thursday), and his visit a day earlier was a surprise. And yes, that meeting WAS very important for the timely success of this whole project.

2. Knightlife saw at least one other person (Ricky, who is on our team), who came to pick me up. He can confirm this. Ricky and another team member were already at the meeting place, and they called me while Knightlife was still here, and I asked them to send Ricky to pick me up. Maybe Knightlife remembers this call and can confirm it.

3. We will invite Knightlife again soon, once the board is hashing better, and we will show him the evidence of all the 4 orders that we have directly placed with Avalon.

4. This point is irrelevant, as long as everyone gets the evidence that we are making progress.

why can't you show us the evidence now?
why can't you send me my refund now?
I would expect you to want me to stfu.

Let's try this another way, please can I have my refund?

I btceic do hereby promise that I will leave this thread never to return, if you hit the refund button at paypal.

I canceled my order last week by opening a ticket on the TerraHash web sight, still haven't received any communication or refund.

Just curious and you don't have to answer if you don't want to but, what are your reasons for canceling?
Its a growing list of them loosing credibility.
The OP starts on may 7.
TerraHash says "we have ordered 20,000 chips from Avalon."
Then if you look at post #820 by TerraHash the date on it is 10 May and for only 10,000 chips.

They don't seem to do what they say.

May 8 TerraHash says "Sure, We'll create a "our Team" page on the website."
May 11 TerraHash says "Also we have hired a guy out here to design our own PCBs based on the BitSyncom's specs using the FPGA"
May 13 TerraHash says "Shipping for those is about .1BTC" K16
May 26 TerraHash says "This would be the first scam in the history of the world where the scammers set up everything and then didn't take any money"

Hey gang (TH) don't sweat it, I see you working back and forth today with BKK and you both seem headed in the right direction! Please keep that momentum up! for now that's enough for me Smiley keep em hashing! you guys are getting closer each day.

why can't you send me my refund now?

If you recall, he stated that the paypal funds were going to be used to cover the cloudhashing refund.

You'd think he'd understand that he'd have a lot fewer people requesting these refunds if he'd actually follow through with what he promised on them, but he doesn't seem to understand. He's going to have a hell of a lot more as late July approaches, so it would be wise to grant them in hopes to win those on the edge over, especially with him now acting as the way he should have since day 1. Even to grant a BTC or money transfer refund, as that is the only way they're going to get a refund, it would build some trust and get the weak supporters out.

I suppose I may have to visit to meet them face to face on my business travels out west sometime, I'd like to see if they match up with the profile I've created in my mind from the interaction. Highly intelligent, yet no capability to understand anything outside of his method of thinking. Customer service is an annoyance as people should simply pay money and wait.

It's good to see this thread turning slowly into the intended purpose.

I'll reply and add to TH's comments below.

That is correct. Amir stated that he was expecting me on Thursday. Understandable. He was not ready for my  visit, but it was clear that they are working on the boards.

I saw one of Amir's partners enter the office as I was leaving. We did not speak, but it was clear that he was there to pick Amir up. Amir also mentioned that they have a tech who is working on the boards daily/nightly. That means that there are at least 3 people in Terrahash. Clearly a "we".

3. We will invite Knightlife again soon, once the board is hashing better, and we will show him the evidence of all the 4 orders that we have directly placed with Avalon.

Amir has my business card and will call me in the next week or so to come back and video the K16 hashing at full and take pics of the 4 chip invoices. He has assured me of this. I have no reason to doubt him. Plus, I only work 45 minutes or so away from their office.

4. This point is irrelevant, as long as everyone gets the evidence that we are making progress.

Correct. Everyone has a right to privacy. Making a purchase from someone does not give you the right to enter their home or business and record what you find without the owner's consent. If you are an individual or private business, you have a reasonable expectation of privacy. I understand what they were counseled in this matter as I have dealt with it in the past from a business standpoint. For liability reasons alone, it's best not to let someone film everywhere in your business or residence. They have allowed video to be taken of what matters and they have put up a video of the board functioning. I have proven that Terrahash exists and are working on the boards. They will allow me to go back and photograph the invoices when I video the k16 hashing. We are on a first name basis now. I think we are solid here.

Will do. Thanks MMNC. I'm glad the trip has helped everyone to rest easy. I'll definitely make another trip down there in the next week or two at the latest to follow up.  Smiley

Even I don't know exactly. I have had very little sleep in the last 3-4 days. I will look at everything again tomorrow and see what I changed that made this work.

some more details how you got it working?

Try this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=190731.msg2712620#msg2712620

Yea I was having the exactly same issue. It has disappeared magically. Maybe the logging code I added, created a little delay and thats why the lock conflicts disappeared. Try adding some delay before wr_lock around line 1500 in usbutils.c

Code:
#define DEVLOCK(cgpu, _pth_state) do { \
pthread_setcancelstate(PTHREAD_CANCEL_DISABLE, &_pth_state); \
// add some delay here \
wr_lock(cgpu->usbinfo.devlock); \
} while (0)

I hardly get any good nonce if I clock it over 279. I have the exact same circuit as provided by BkkCoins. The only difference is that my capacitor is 33pF, instead of his 30pF.

I just changed the 220p capacitor to 30p and the circuit is also exactly the same as BBKCoins drew. Ktest still gives "GOOD" from 128M to 300M with correct return time.
However, cgminer's stuck more frequently. The WU at 128M goes down to 2.5/m, and WU at 256M goes down to 2/m.

It seems that this issue has a lot to do with the clock generation circuit. May be some results cannot be captured.

I will test your method.

UPDATE:

Your method works!!!

I added

nmsleep(100); \

and everything works like a charm.

128M ~ 8/m WU
256M ~ 17/m WU

BBKCoins, please be noticed. This might be a common issue.

Set the clock to 275 MHz, and now the board is hashing upto 3.96 GH/s. I waited quiet long to see it touch 4GH/s, but that never happened. WU is stable at around 60/m. HW is quiet low.

There is still room for improvements. Our board doesn't work at 300 MHz. I am going to try and fix it tomorrow. A lot of nonces are duplicate (extra work!). BkkCoins has given me a few leads, I am gonna work on them tomorrow as well. I am gonna hold back the video until we touch 4.5 GH/s!

Good info, thanks for the update terrahash.

What's needed to cool the board at 275-300?

Has anyone successfully changed their shipping address with TerraHash? They say they'll do it "in rare cases." I hope my case is rare enough; I found out after I placed my order that I'd be moving by the end of July. If I don't change my address, I won't receive my order, simple as that. I opened a support ticket a week ago, but haven't heard back.

Any ideas??
