can they hack into our wallet. There are many professional hackers out there. What are the chances? Also what is the safest way to safeguard ourself?
It can be hack due to your negligence. They can only hack your private key or user name and password but not bitcoin security. Better to use hardware wallet so your bitcoin would be out of the grid or internet offline connection.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Even though I'm not a professional computer expert, I believe that our digital wallets can be hacked but this is way too hard for the hackers. Our bitcoin addresses are combination of many letters (uppercase and lowercase) and numbers, I think this is the reason why it is very hard to hack because there so many combinations to choose from (try to permutate to have an idea) but I've read an article about hacking saying that those codes can still robbed by means of "phishing" so be careful in choosing where you put your btc addresses.

But for now, bitcoins are still secured enough so no need to worry about. Smiley

The wallet provider If you have any bitcoins they have to be stored somewhere. There are a lot of wallet providers that make it a lot eaiser to use your bitcoins

Any wallet can be hacked. But I heard that the safest wallets are purses of cold storage. They store your bitcoins on the device and only you have access to the wallet

I think use cold storage is a good way to protect wallets. Maybe you must pay fee for this but it helps you prevent hackers.
Cold storage can be near free but you still need some hardware to make it happen, but if you already have some of that hardware then it can be free, you can create a paper wallet, you will need a printer but many people already have one so this option is free, you could also use a usb, create a file with your addresses and their private keys and encrypt it, this is also free if you already have an usb laying around, the last option is to use a hardware wallet like trezor, that is going to cost you money but it is worth it.

Of course or no. What's a lot more most likely to take place if a person will hack your pc. That doesn't essentially mean that the wallet is compromised by itself merely that they picked up your addresses keys whilst you were copying pasting them at some point, or they leached information of a text file In which you were storing your keys. As long as you get your wallet computer software from a reliable resource and you will find only a number of of them that itself is wonderful and protected.

Can, it all depends on you online wallets for example can easily be hacked, despite all the security measures, the desktop is heavier much if they do not have access to the computer. But all information technologies are subject to risks.

It is possible, anything can happen. Hackers can be found anywhere and always ready to do something when you are not capable of doing extra protection with your wallet. It is important to secure your password, your phone, computer, internet.

No, without private key no body can hack bitcoin Wallet at all. If wallet is downloaded on your PC or laptop that is called cold storage and it is the best way to keep secure your bitcoin.Online bitcoin Wallet is also secure on website but there must be a some security function like a google authenticator code which is installed on cell phone and change your security number come after 30 second for keep away from theft. Email confirmation system is also good security function.some website also use cell phone one time password message sending is also 100% security criteria.

In the past, bitcoin had been hacked by many hackers, the reason is bitcoin security was weak, but nowaday they have been evolve, extremely high security: 2 layers of authenticators, private key,... so it is harder for hacker to hack your wallet, but you should keep your password and private key carefully or you can lost all of money.

Yes things that we people did not anticipate may happen but as my parents say, "Prevent is better than cure". So as long as we can prevent the hackers fom getting our bitcoins in our bitcoin wallets. From the past years since bitcoin is released, I did not heard about bitcoin being hacked on bitcoin wallet, unless they've found out the private key, but what I've heard is bitcoins being hacked on exchangers.

For a professional hacker nothing's impossible they can easily sneak and get your private key if you're not doing your responsibility to safeguard yourself . In order to prevent this thing to happen avoid downloading and installing a software from unknown source and clicking untrusted web links .

The only reason for you to be hacked is to reveal your self if you clicked the wrong links that are being sent to you then that will be the only way for you to be hacked. Wallets are very secured that they have encrypted keys on it so phishing sites will be the only way for you to be hacked.

Most common threats:

1. Trojan

Think before you click.

Doing periodic password changes can be a little less than a break-in. Getting good security makes us very comfortable

A wallet could be hacked. If you download something on the internet it may can have a wallet stealer in it. The wallet stealer then searches your computer for your keys.

If the wallet stealer founds it he uploads it to the hackers computer. This is how the most hackers work.
