Do Altcoins really have a future?

Cryto currencies have created decentralization and democratization of currency for that altcoins have a future. Economic hardship and advancement in technology produced cryto coins and more people are giving it value by trading and investing in them.  The reality is, Crypto coins are here for good and we are yet to see the best altercoins as more coins are being created by the day.

I think altcoins really has future. As what you have said, it proved it for how many years already so I think it is for long term as it goes popular worldwide day by day. I don't see any problem yet about altcoins. Maybe it can be improve more next time. It will be in the process.

Actually, they have future but not all of them. Because so many altcoins invented probably within a month and we really don't know which one would survived in a long run. Some of them will vanished after another coins are created, and it could be happen anytime.

I think such questions musn't be asked. Of course they have and as it seems they have even more chanse than bitcoin. We can make altcoins better version of bitcoin. What's bitcoin? Name and good currency at the same time but as we see it can be easily manipulated too and spam transactions can make everything from good to worse.
Altcoins have possibility to become more unique but gaining trust is what won't give them permission for a long time because they can't beat bitcoin in trust.

Coins that are just trying to be a currency will die out, there are a few which will have a network effect and the features that are useful to people, the rest have no purpose and will go to zero value.

Platforms that provide particular services will survive and flurish.  Much of this will happen ontop of existing protocols like ETH, or Bitcoin, but there may be uses that are specialized enough they will need their own type of blockchains.   Blockchains as databases have a particular use, so there might be certain types of business environments that need their own financial database, so these types of chains will probably only grow from here.

I see alt-coins being a like a specific business currency, as you can see, some websites and services like facebook, steam,etc.. are using currency, facebook specifically has facebook tokens and I can see them creatingtheir own coin to be used in those purposes. That would make them money and would open up a few more possibilites. That's unleast what I see for many alt-coin and the rest with be there just as they are now.

Yes I think the blockchain technology is here to stay. The alt coins definitely have a future, it is just a matter of realizing which one will take over the market to get the most gains. Personally I like Stratis because it connects the existing .NET framework and a great developer team behind it. Another one of my favorite is Storj. Etherum definitely will be worth 5-10x more in few years since lots of new tokens are utilizing its platform. Doing more research on IOTA, it looks like a great project.

Altcoins will hae a great future, thats for sure. I mean not all can make the race, but there will be a lot of Altcoins that are going to moon with bitcoin!

I think yes, at least one of them. Bitcoin still is the best, but the other is good too. If Bitcoin's price is too high, we can buy and invest in other crypto. If the Bitcoin mining is dead, we can mine other cryptos. See ? The Bitcoin price will become so high that only the rich can buy and invest. But other crypto can still be a solution for people like me who want to invest and start learning about the crypto world.

its only a matter of time before we see altcoins has got bright future and once the time is come, then the price will increase too like what we see with bitcoin. but i think only the strong altcoin will have bright future and its support by the dev, the teams and the community so the altcoin will be one of the top altcoins.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

most of the people interested to doing alt coins trading. in market who starting coins trading they can first buying alt coins only. so they get one idea on bit coins. and alt coins has great demand present. so we have to try once it. really alt coins giving to us more profit so we have to choose one of the best alt coins trading and buy more number of coins and keep hold it. next see how you earning profit.

Yes, there are lots of altcoin has a great future but some are not, good project is one of the thing to make existence of the coin will be longer or to make it successful, always finding a ways to make good services into their investors is also a thing to stay or keep more investor support one coin. And most of the coin who are not be successful they have no good management and they luck of capital.

Ah same , a weeks ago i sell altcoin on low price , because idk the coin will raising over than 0.005 eth/Coin.
Im new on altcoin trading , but next time i will hodl the coin raise to high price , im so sad when i think i sell coin on low price and now the price raise to over from based price.

Yeah , altcoin will have future if the project success.
I see on a lot ICO project success with sale their coin , and the price so high now.
But a lot too ICO failed to sale their coin.
I believe sometimes all ICO will make a good project and altcoin will have future when all dev success with their project.
