After running for 8+ hours at 920 my HBM readings are 72/63/65.

Before I went to bed I rebuilt the rig, removed all risers and plugged 3 GPUs directly into the x16 slots. DDU'd, fresh install of Blockchain drivers. Made sure HBC was on. Overclocked the memory to 920. I got 3,500h/s stable all night long from 3 Vegas with the above config.
That's not very good is it... Sad
Have you try the disabling/re-enabling the GPUs as mentioned further above? Did it make any difference?
Yes, used devcon to reset them then am forced to reboot. My machine will always claim that a card is not present until I have rebooted.

thank you, man!

My take on this is, if you've never had any experience with setting up AMD hardware and aim at getting multiple Vega's set up for mining, you're up for a lot of pain, you masochistic person! Cheesy

well, actually I guess I will go much harder way, I'm gonna add two AMD VEGA56 to my rig with 6x 1080ti
please tell me, do I have a chance to make it work?

Sapphire RX Vega 56 sold by NewEgg.com on eBay w/free shipping:  $419

I have 2 such cards. They can't work normally with 950 MHz HBM overclock... Should I maybe rise HBM voltage?..

no wonder they are so cheap.  Huh
if stupidly overclock just by moving sliders in any overclocking app - then yes - they cant hit even 950 (artefact all over screen 100%). with undervolting reg mods it works 1100 very good.

Just ordered myself one of these:

https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/100-Brand-New-for-Onda-D1800-BTC-Mining-Machine-Mining-Motherboard-Support-6-cards-All-Solid/2673083_32829766277.html

At $132 with GPU included and no need for risers, it was too good to pass on!

I intend to slap 6x Vega 56 on it.

Can someone tell me how loud these buggers are? I need to think logistically now... Tongue

Very nice motherboard choice you picked right there. Talk about cost and power savings.
Did you ever get to order and use this? Interested to know how its working for you.
I'll tell you all about it... in a year or so, when I have managed to get all the Vega 56's I'm slapping on to hash at full speed... Tongue
id only do liquid cooled vegas on that board, the slots are too close

nanopool works fine for me, but yeah im seeing about 2-3% discrepancy.  For people who dont have a lot of hash, maybe nicehash is a better option.  Last time I tried it though the cryptonight servers kept restarting/disconnecting though.

cast-xmr is running very smooth with nicehash on my Vegas. claymore and sgminer have a lot of orphans and disconnects (polaris and hawaii rigs)

What is the Aug 23 driver?  I keep installing 17.30 but in device manager it says that is 22.19.659 from 8/8/2017.

Nicehash works, but its difficulty is too high. I have about 5% rejected shares. Sometimes pages of no shares are accepted, just new jobs. Given, over time it evens out, but still does not look nice.

Is the same with you ?

psu 1200 Watts enough For 6x V64 ?

You can count 150-180W per card depending on chip lottery (mining XMR).
1200W could be enough, but you are going to need so many 8 pin connectors.

On/off it does not make a difference. System memory is at 16GB and pagefile is at 70GB.

What is your hashrate with 2 vegas? Maybe the third vega is causing the issue.
