I'd start by dialling back the overclocking on all cards to 1080 and see if they all hold at that, then one by one increase them to see if they hold 1100. Personally I prefer running all cards a little below the max, mixed opinions on this but for 24/7 running I don't think it's wise to push the cards especially reference Vegas with the pissy drivers and high temps. For me card temps weren't related to the GPU COMPUTE ERROR, as long as the cards were clocked stable high temps only reduced mining speed in my experience. Hey everyone, i am new to this forum. Out of 6, one of my vega 64, when installed BC driver and after running PP registry, went full throttle on fan speed, and windows error shows up showing gpu temp overload and my system hangs. Its just with one card, no matter what i do, on normal driver it works fine, but on BC driver its creating this problem. Is my GPU faulty, should i return it ?. Please help Start by dialling back the overclock/undervolt in that card. Not all cards can hold the same speeds/voltages. One of mine always runs 10% slower than the rest. I change the tach lights to blue on the weaker card/s that way when new drivers are installed or different mining software used and the order gets messed up you can track the weaker card easily

lets ask for the third time - is anyone getting errors like this: "GPU COMPUTE ERROR" and how do you stop it - by lowering temps on a card or by reducing memory clock?
maybe you can try a few changes and report back ? I did see some of these errors when pushing the cards beyond their limits. Don't remember what I did exactly to fix them. Yeah, I was going to do that, but wanted to check if someone knew what is it As my other rig has no such issues, but I have only 64s on it. I guess one or all 3 56s I have here don't like the 1100 memory much, but its running almost 48h stable now, and don't really want to mess with it before its needed. But I am losing like 1% results because of this error on the other hand ...

What I noticed was that GPUTech leds at one cards was fully loaded without any changes - I think that this was problematic card. Than I restarted windows. None of them was making problems :-) So now I'll dial down OC on this card and wait...

Thanks. I was able to edit that batch file and it's working well enough. I seems to hang and have a few errors when I've tried to execute it though. Like one time it disabled the cards, but then only re-enabled one of them. It doesn't happen every time, but I'll keep working at it to see if it's on my end.
I'm still running at full speed now after a whole day of mining. I have nicehash and a couple nvidia cards on this board, but if I run any of them it kills the speed on castxmr. It reallys sucks, but it appears you gotta keep your AMD cards on a dedicated board running just one algorithm if you have Vega's. Every time any other nicehash window pops up I notice the decline.
This is disappointing because I have an ASUS B250 Mining Expert board in the mail right now and sold my Biostar to my friend. It supports "19" cards so I was hoping to be able to throw all my cards onto this one board.
How many Vega's have people successfully ran on one machine? Most builds I see comprise of only 4-6 Vega cards. <snip>
I find that Ryzen builds do better in situations like Cast + XMR-STAK-cpu at the same time, or Cast + EWBF. Other than that, try lowering intensity for the Nvidia cards. 8 Vegas seems to be max that a few people have reported.

Also to try to identify the poorly running card leave it out of the batch file and once you find that the card that was preforming poorly is NOT hashing look in the case and check for the fan leds and the one that's not under load is that card. Let me know if you need me to step by step that or clarify my language a little.

Have anyone tried mining with vega frontier edition? Wondering if the extra ram helps with running XMR?
about 2200H/s.

130 watt for 1600h/s - this is diff between idle and mining with one card measured from the wall, so guess total is near 150 watt ... much more for 1700h/s cause you will need max gpu clock and voltage. Temps are fine for me - I use liquid cool Vega )))))))))))))))))))) And one more ... Vega seemes to not need monitor or dummy plug attached for tuning - very convinient )) I don't see how that has anything to do with Vegas. If I don't have a monitor or plug in TeamViewer and VNC will not display any video.

For my old hawaii and tahiti rigs I need to attach at least one card to monitor or dummy to have ability to control clocks and voltages

so much hashrates has received today on a vega64 with regmod 1408 core, 1110 mem https://i.imgur.com/385kvBa.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/4U6ophv.jpgHere is the system Asus p5b e8400 6GB RAM Sapphire Vega64 Nvidia 7300GS TV Panasonic TX-PR50VT20 plugged into Nvidia 7300GS But as soon as I connected system to the monitor, the h/s down to 2000. I once again connected the system to the TV and the hashrates back to 2500. But in an attempt to find the reason for the h/s fall, I can not get 2500h/s anymore.

Microtech has the Ryzen 1800X for $299, that price is live now at Microtech stores. Good price.

about 2200H/s. Is that fast? Quite fast. About 15% faster than Vega 56. But costs way more, not worth it I guess. I thought with double the ram it can hash way more, like 3Kh/s

Am I dreaming or is 4 * Vega56 going to work on my P5K-SE (4GB RAM, Intel Core2 Duo E8200) Windows 10 64bit? Pairing with Corsair 1000W
Also do I *need* an SSD for the virtual memory or will an old school HDD suffice (win10 is installed there already)?

What driver and which regmod are you using ? 1110 mem clock is not possible on blockchain unless you really know what you are doing
