As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.
Nobody really knows the answer for this and I think everyone who use's it also want's it to be with as for a long time, Let's just hope and continue to support it by using it or investing some money to it. |

No one knows when and how long can a thing could last because even prediction or premonition about a certain thing can be a false argument but can be true once proven. We must not speed things up because bitcoin has just been established a couple of years ago. We must not yet come up thinking how long and when could it last. What ia important is the present that bitcoin is positively beneficial to everyone and the price value is still on its way getting higher. |

Not only bitcoin, most of the digital currencies were unpredictable and the same has made users gain and loss big. Bitcoin has faced lots of issues in the short time frame from its existence. So further it will grow based on the same and survive for a longer time as adoption and several governments too have plans of legalizing bitcoin.

Bitcoin will last until theres a bitcoiner user.I think we cant stop bitcoin user because bitcoin really gives an extra cash to the bitcoiners.Its really a big help especially to those have no work having celphones to online on bitcointalk.To be a member then have a profit after their activity level up to a junior member.Then start to have their pay as their salary.And to the bigtimers having large amout of bitcoin will be more richer because they can sell it when bitcoin price is very high. |

What are you asking? Are you asking if the price of BTC will forever rise?
Nobody knows. Nobody has a crystal ball. It will go up, it will go down. How long each leg will be up or down, nobody knows.
I think a lot like to think that BTC will rise, especially on this forum, let's wait and see.
Everyone now has already using bitcoins. I think this will rise for its value. It has said that we couldn't predict how should it last but however people still using for this activity for some big timers. I think this will last a lifetime. |

Well as long as there are people who's interested inside bitcoin it can last for that long. As long as government won't interfere the transactions in bitcoin there are no problems. And if crash its price I doubt that investors would pull out their investments immediately. But in the end of the day no one knows if bitcoin could maintain its condition. The bitcoins will survive until and unless there are supporters of them. I personally believe that bitcoins are not going to crash that easily. They are at present the most expensive coins and best investment for multiplying your capital in shorter time. Sooner or later they are going to be the world’s most trusted international currency. |

As long as there is users of Bitcoin, and as long as Internet connection is available, I think Bitcoin will last for many years and also it will become even more famous and used worldwide. The price will increase surely and that's will encourage so many people to deal with Bitcoin in the future.
No one will ever know how long will bitcoin last. Because as long as people uses bitcoin and as long as people recognize it, it will never die in the digital world. Bitcoin yes has also lapses but it is a working progress and it will continue to improve and to be at it's best along the years that will pass. Now that many people are starting to know about bitcoin and starting to use it, it's population will continue to grow and to spread all over and it will never ever have to end. |

I guess the better question would be how long it will last after all the bitcoin is mined?
We dont have any idea what could happen. But I am sure there will be less investors afyer that or others might withdraw.
It could lead to a price that is not moving much anymore. With that there is no more space for income. It will be just like commodities that will be invested in. But I am not so sure avout that. I guess we will just havr to see it through.

Most bitcoin holders said that the price of bitcoin will increase more (a good thing). If that happen, for sure many people will work to have bitcoin. So if people will do everything about bitcoin or to have bitcoin and keep wanting bitcoin then bitcoin will have more value and may can last for a very long time. Well, it is just my opinion guys. That is what I only tought. Thre is no right answer because nobody can answer it correctly by now. A lot of things can happen in the future. Let’s just all consider the possibilities that might happen. yeah bitcoin price will be really increase in coming few days and we know Bitcoins are the very easy and safe mode of investment. They have got the potential to let you be rich within short time period. Bitcoins are going to last till the technology is there in the world. People have become real fans of bitcoins because of its amazing features. Soon the bitcoin fan power is going to make it legal worldwide. |

I'm talking about the fact that if we take as a basis Bitcoin and the fact that its price will rise several times, compared to today, it seems to me that the crypto currency will remain only a means for keeping finances, but not as a means of payment. If anything, let's see what a solution will be to legalize crypto currency, and then I really do not believe it. |

Well, no-one can really predict, but I can say that it will be quite a long time before it completely dies out.
To be able to really tell, we would need to know when bitcoin turns into a currency from a commodity. That is when we will get the full extent of the picture. Bitcoin will not survive withouit its users, so unless another major cryptocurrency comes to rise, I would predict bitcoin to be just fine. At this stage, we should focus on getting through August 1.

I guess just like the characteristics of bitcoin which is unpredictable and volatile...it will last as long as there is a demand as of now many and many users are getting attach into bitcoin it's value continue to grow which means it has reach it's stability in the market bitcoin like a normal currency will continue to sustain the market and as long as it has a value it will remain as currency...

Bitcoin can last for a lifetime if there are still users of it. In our situation right now, we can see that bitcoin users are expanding and even big companies are trying to participate on it. If this will continously happen, it will last until there are users and there is no other crypto that is much better than bitcoin. |

It won't die, at worst the price will drop and it will become mostly irrelevant in day to day transactions. There will always be a die hard cult of fans that will hold on to their coins no matter what.

Probably right, but if we think and ask on how long will bitcion be running, i think as long as there is market, and that market was us people, and that people will keep on cycling the BTC. Even though bitcoin has the capability or the potential to last long but the market has lost their interest well i guess it wont last long, but as you can see who would have lost interest in bitcoin? And even just thinking on the benefits. |

Actually the news talking about Bitcoin can died or banned ... are fake news by whales and big boy creating panic on market, helps them can buying Bitcoin with cheap price. So, when you see some bad news about Bitcoin, don't worry even buy in this time is good choice if have dip price. |

In my opinion. I don't have any answer on that. Bitcoin is continuously innovating and it is being more invulnerable for extincting. There might be some trouble on it's way up but still bitcoin will surely be able to overcome all of it. The price if it may go down hard or go down high, no knows what the future holds. All we need to do is put all our trust within the bitcoin and keep on believing on it knowing that it enables us earn huge amount of money. Some alternate coins may die but I don't think bitcoin ever will. |
