As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.

Bitcoin will only end if theres no more electricity to power up things that are connected to bitcoin, isnt it? So my answer will only be bitcoin will live forever, and as years will past bitcoin will be upgraded like bitcoin 2.0

Another possibility is that the internet is destroyed by something or if I have read correctly that a kill switch is activated that stops all the Internet traffic, however I think there are bigger chances the electric grid goes down than the internet, but that is just my opinion.

It seems that bitcoin will continue to progress as long as there is an electric current and an internet connection as an access that can connect with bitcoin, the possibility of bitcoin will persist for the next few years, perhaps even until bitcoin becomes a legal transaction tool that can be used by everyone and in various countries.

Today's society bitcoin can last longer if alot of people encourage to join. For me, with the continue rise and fall of the value of Bitcoin, i can say it will survive as long as two person is using it. It can continue as long as there is someone and another one continued to transact with the use of Bitcoin. It is natural for the Bitcoin's prize to spike down but it will spike up eventually then spike down and up again, making an infinite loop. If all the people suddenly stop using Bitcoin then the Bitcoin will die and will just stay in our memory, but what the odd chance of that. So, to answer your question, Bitcoin can last as forever could take if all of us continue to use it.

Yes , but all of us doesn't clearly know what will happen in the future and what possibly happens to bitcoins . Now as much as we can make profit balance it don't invest all your money on it withdraw some amount and put it in a bank or have some other investments .

As long as there are people that is interested to invest in bitcoin it will not dump eventually. If just people do a good job in earning btc then it would be great for the btc community because it will expand and grow in the future. As long as there are people that is interested to invest in bitcoin it will not dump eventually. If just people do a good job in earning btc then it would be great for the btc community because it will expand and grow in the future. 20years may be too long already for a cryptocurrency. Although we can agree that bitcoin is a pioneer when it comes to crypto, times are fast changing and probably in 20years, crypto has already evolved way too far and btc may even be obsolete and have been replaced by a different alt? True. Today society is just like bitcoin. More bitcoin is created to be used by all who dont want to have any interest with bank and influence from governments. On top of that we see that bitcoin is going in right direction, for this I mean that countries are allowing bitcoin to be used in every day transaction and purchases, like we have Japan. They made first step and next year we will be hearing from more and more and by 5 year major countries will use bitcoin in every day trade.

No one can give an exact answer to this question, but I think that bitcoin will still exist for several years until I get rich from the rapid price growth. After all, if you look really, then it will not grow all the time.

I am very grateful that I can make money using crypto currency. But for today I am worried about what is happening in the field of cryptography and therefore Bitcoin is at risk, in my opinion. I don't think so Bitcoins are facing any kind of risk about their existence. Yeah, it is sagacious to be careful with crypto currencies but getting worried about the existence of bitcoin is quite useless and absurd.
