Yes as long as we are here to support bitcoin it will last we don't know until when but it will last more than we ever expected. And as for the price all of us can see it continuously rising there may be times it is going down but it always finds it way back to the top.

This could happen someday when there will be new currency but it will surely take time by looking at bitcoin I think any currency will take place of bitcoin for atleast next 10 years.

As far as i know, there are only limited sources of bitcoin for about 21,000 i think. And we already mined for about 16-18k. Maybe if we already reached the limited amount of bitcoin, it will be gone. Or maybe some will trade, buy and sell and i think in that time, bitcoin price will be very high.

In terms of how long bitcoin could last it will likely be forever, it will never just simply disappear. In terms of for how long it can continue to thrive is a much more difficult question to answer. I would envisage that bitcoin will have its ups and downs but will continue on the whole to go on strong for at least a further 15 years.

No one knows when bitcoin will last.  And it will not crash to the extent that will make the bitcoin end. Though there are many hindrances that are keep on happening and because of the increasing number of users, bitcoin still manages to survive and be on top. I also believe bitcoin can last up to 20 years, we could see the growth of bitcoin year to year, more and more users of bitcoin, more and more investors as well and it had a significant impact on the higher price. so we're sure bitcoin will continue to grow up to 20 years.

I think bitcoin will be forever here together with us because we all know how bitcoin was so famous to many people and how they used it today. Well, I guess all of the answer of the member of this forum are just their opinion or speculations only about the existence of bitcoin. In fact, no one really knows of how long bitcoin will stand? Just all I know as long as their users or bitcoin lovers or investors buying it as an investment it will live forever.

While in theory this seems correct at the same time bitcoin is showing no signs that is getting weaker, yes the bitcoin dominance has gotten lower in this year but it was impossible to maintain that bitcoin dominance for a long time since the amount of coins that has appeared and the amount of projects that have a really great concept and developers will slowly undermine bitcoin dominance but they are nowhere close to bitcoin and I do not think that is going to change anytime soon.

I think the key point here is that altcoins could last further than bitcoin. There are so many stocks in the market -- just because one has the highest market cap does not mean that it is the best stock to invest in. Just like that, Bitcoin may not even be the crypto that lasts into the future. It could be Ethereum, Litecoin, maybe even a coin that hasn't been invented yet. However; it's all about the acceptance of bitcoin across the world that determines if it will survive or not.

As long there are many users of bitcoin, it will not end. As long as there are different moderators and administrators of this, it will not end, for me. If there will be a problem in tha value of bitcoin rising and falling, I think it is inevitable because that is one of the features of bitcoin. As users we just need to continue the support of this so that it will not die.

Replacing bitcoin on its position to the top would really be hard and it would really takes time but now we can already see the strong contestant for the future position but well we should not think off right now and the best thing to do is cherish the moments and money making with bitcoin.No one really knows on when bitcoin would able to last or would be replaced by other coin into its position.

I think it will last for hunder thousand years more.  Supposedly the last Bitcoin will be mined after a hundred years, I think it will  long survive after that event.  The technoloy is ever increasing so I think with Bitcoin updates. upgrades and splits, it will continue to survive and address several problem of finance system.  It will be used as alternative currency by the world and will be adopted though regulated by many countries if not the whole world.
