If you don't have a well developed trading system, honestly, you should buy and hold -- for years if necessary. Amateurs who attempt to be active traders are great for the pros, because it makes easy profits for them. The sooner a noob gets burned the better, because then he/she understands that trading requires planning and precision. With the current rally, no doubt, many new traders have jumped-in -- usually too late -- and they will only learn hard and fast how quickly markets can turn.

You can Hold only if you foresee that the price will increase at-least 2 months or beyond.

If you think that price will not increase then it is totally your decision that you hold or not.

But it is cryptocurrency market only burly Traders can survive.

Personally, I think buy in this time is the correct strategy. Because the price is currently down and this is a perfect time to us to get bitcoin at a lower price and accumulate more. I do hold in this time as well because I truly believes that this is just temporary and that bitcoin will quickly recovered and the price will spike again soon. No worries for me, I'm in it for the long haul anyway so no plans to sell.

This is not right to make the trade. But this is a good time to collect more coins for future purpose. Not only bitcoin all other altcoin prices also went down, and it's still falling. If you wait one more week, I think the price still go down, and that is the best time to buy coins. At present don't sell any coin hold it in your wallet.

Sometimes the price of altcoin can be increase huge next year like other altcoin that is why selling your altcoin when the price is dropping or decrease better to always check the reason because you will lose opportunity if you sell a altcoin that has potencial to growth why you sell it?
I think the price can be increase huge back not this following days weeks or months i think sometimes the huge price increase happen next year and they are gaining large and huge price increase.. so if you just sell your altcoin because of price drop.you will lose. that is why there are someone either you gamble your altcoin or not.. it will be depends what you want but selling altcoin in low price is always a bad decision.

Well i think he is talking about long term holder and you are talking about for shorterm holder . there are differences about short term and long term holders..
But i think shorterm holders are those people who are always active in the market or pro in the market who can make a good profit in few minutes

Just because of the fact that you don't know how trading works, it doesn't mean that current volatility isn't going to work well for others.... While you are looking at the market and only see a complete mess, there are people making great profits from these price swings. After all, volatility is what traders are in this game for. Main point of importance is that you trade with fractions of your total balance -- so if the market makes an unpredictable move, you'll always be in the position to buy or sell into this movement.

But note that this will also juts get you to the "Break even point"where there is no loss and no profit to your trade. You will still have to wait for the price to go up and once it starts moving upwards whatever you earn is your complete profit. SO just wait. :-)

To hold or to sell will depend on the entry price of a buyer and if at current rate he is making good profits then no need to hold and he can sell some of his coins to grab the profits but if he has bought at higher price then the only option left for him is to hold till it crosses his entry price.

If you have done good research about the coin you have invested and if you have clear idea that surely your coin would go high in price,then you can hold your coins despite price fall.If you don't have any idea about your coin and you are just continuing to hold it,then it would lead you to huge loss.So better to sell it if have no idea.

If you have done good research about the coin you have invested and if you have clear idea that surely your coin would go high in price,then you can hold your coins despite price fall.If you don't have any idea about your coin and you are just continuing to hold it,then it would lead you to huge loss.So better to sell it if have no idea.

If you are investing in altcoin without doing any research then you are ultimately gambling with your money you are depending only on luck to make profits which is very risky and in that case it will bring only loss for you and nothing else.

In my opinion here you can do two things .
first thing is to wait until the price reach to more than the price at which you bought the coin .
And second thing is that you should buy again more coins at low price , so that small increase in the price will recover your loss in small time .
in the above lines I only told about the suggestion but here you need to get away from such type of the problem by doing trading in better way.
Always follow the basic rules of the trading , which says that never buy those coins whose price is increasing and never buy those coins which are getting back down after big pump , because in these two situation there occure a big risk to lost your investment , or you need long time of 3-4 month to return your investment with profit .
