 People holding bitcoin it because there waiting and hoping that bitcoin will rise to the higher. So there profit will double or multi.Othere are holding bitcoin in a years And many user predict that bitcoin will be huge in 2018... So if bitcoin price is down quick invest and hold it...

Why are people holding Bitcoin? maybe to hold money or bitcoin? and maybe they raise the bitcoin price and then they sell it? because the price is so high that they get more when they sell it? so if i have lots of bitcoin? people holding bitcon for getting more profit. when price will falling down then people buy bitcoin with lower price and sell bitcon when price is high.

I think many people hold the bitcoins because bitcoin's price will be more expensive in the future,
bitcoins be considered as new digital gold and digital asset, bitcoins can protect their whealty from inflation
so they hold bitcoins for long time.

I strongly agree and believe on your opinion that, many people hold the bitcoins because bitcoin's price will be more expensive in the future, bitcoins be considered as new digital gold and digital asset, bitcoins can protect their whealty from inflation so they hold bitcoins for long time. Adding also my opinion that, we are not even close to being critical, which would require Bitcoin to be placed in the "critical care unit", metaphorically speaking. There is no chain split yet, and the chances of it coming about look low right now (we'd rather go on as before without SegWit). In addition, Some people are waiting for Infinity, but am into it for the currency value of Bitcoin, the investment growth is just an additional profit.

People are holding it for many reason which meant be positive or negetive, but I think holding it is not a bad i deal is very important to do so, so that you can really benefit from it. Always think twice before you take any decision
