Why people are holding Bitcoin?

Now the price is stable at $7300, those who hold bitcoins for last few months are even better than print money.
I am only regret that I have been sold 1 coin at $4000
Some guys said it will up to $16000 at end of next year, I trust it now..

On today btc has growing up badly .today rate is 7500$.so if someone took btc in lower rate ,now he can get profit .thats the main reason people hold btc.and other hand today people do many deals with btc .

they hold bitcoin because of the rising bitcoin price and they want more profit by holding it for longer

I agree,  That's the most common did of the bitcoin holders, the fact they hold it for very long years inorder to get more profits in the future. Bitcoin provides concrete proof not just wishful thinking. The person who bought Bitcoin a month ago and held it up until now has benefited from selling it now.

Bitcoin is big in demand day by day that why its price are rising very fast so only this hick is main reason for holding bitcoin we all work for profit and cash which we are getting in bitcoin so i think its only reason behind  holding it

because bitcoin will not be affected by any crisis, nobody can set the bitcoin price, this is a very awesome investment.
you can see a few months ago when the price of 1 BTC = 24 million in bitcoin prices decreased due to various issues, you can see currently almost touching 100 million = 1 BTC.
This is the reason why somebody keeps the bitcoin .

I agree with you we should believe in the coins we have and even if they make nothing of it you should just sell them and there are more ways then to buy other coins just earn them through airdrops campaigns and even bountys.

Think of bitcoin mining as gold mining. There's a limited amount of gold embedded in earth. The more you extract gold from earth, the harder and expensive it becomes to mine new gold. Hence its value increases everytime its gets mined. The same is with bitcoins. Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of bitcoins, during the creation of bitcoins put a limit of 21 million i.e. only 21 million no. of bitcoins are present in this cryptocurrency which are expected to be all mined within 100 years from now. The more you mine bitcoins the  harder it gets to mine new bitcoins therefore resulting in its increased value. If one is investing $1000 in bitcoins after few years its value will become double.

They are holding because they know that bitcoins price will go back up more than how it has fall down. They get their confidence in holding from the history of trends in the bitcoin market and the upcoming events for bitcoin. Maybe they also believe in its system that it would be a good and reliable to invest and wait until it reaches higher value. There have been a lot of up and down in the market and we all know that bitcoin itself started from almost no value at all.

Because it was an investment people want to make their bitcoin grow especially that the value of bitcoin is decreasing and increasing from time to time people love to take a risk because investment has a 50/50 chance to fail or to succeed. Anyway, for now, bitcoin value is rising I don't know for how long it will last. Another is if you think about the past when bitcoin is so cheap many people invest and become millionaires because they buy bitcoin at a low price until the value of bitcoin increase in a large amount. I think that's the reason why people holding their bitcoin for a long period of time.

At this point, bitcoin price is into an average of $7000, so I think it is still safe for us to hold bitcoin right now since it has a fast action these days, bitcoin price increase fast and still continue to increase which can attract a lot of investors. In my point of view, even if I am not an investor I can say that a lot of small investors are investing in bitcoin today because of its good price and they think that bitcoin will totally burst up to $10000.
