As Bitcoin is considered the most valuable asset at the moment and is beating many of the market. I think people will tend to buy Bitcoin more and they will try to keep more Bitcoins because I am confident Bitcoin can reach 100,000 by 2018.

The only reason that I have in mind in the question, why do people hold their bitcoins is that, as we can see in the graph of bitcoins price, this year, bitcoins price just got from the floor to the roof, and those who got their bitcoins in their wallets went from zero to riches, now they are holding their bitcoin hoping that it would continue to increase, making their money profit along with bitcoin.

Of course that those moments are best time to invest in bitcoin. In moments like that price is lowered a lot, and probably lowest that can be in that period of time. So far bitcoin has always going up in worth, and from what i can see it will continue to do so. People continue to hold Bitcoin because they trust Bitcoin. If you will only look at the situation with a short-sighted view, then perhaps you will easily let go of your Bitcoins. However, if you look at the situation of Bitcoin in a much wider horizon, then you would know that Bitcoin is moving great despite some downs in the past several weeks as you say.

I think this is the one of the reason why they hold bitcoins. They think by holding bitcoin for a long time can generate them a huge profit in the future but actually this is happening if we invest in the year where bitcoin started we are super rich now. This time everyone knows, its digital time and world becoming digitise and in Digital world the currencies should also have Digital . BTC is a digital currency or Crypto currency. Investing in bitcoin gives a lot of users profit. We all know that bitcoin has many advantages and we are all being benefited from it once we use it. It is better to hold bitcoin for a long time because as we can see for the past few months the price of bitcoin really went up and a lot of people was happy because of their profit.
