People are holding their bitcoins because they believe that in the coming future, its value will increased to double, triple or infinite. They are looking for the right time when to sell their bitcoins and that time is when its value reaches people's goal profit.

People hold on to their bitcoin because they expect that the money that they invested on bitcoin would grow double or more than that. Sometime they wait till the expected amount they are looking for comes.

isn't it obvious that why people do hold because of the speculated price of coins will be a 6 digit in number USD to be exact in upcoming 2018.. and also because bitcoin is being assets for people who are literate in crypto currency..
or maybe they are investing in bitcoin so that they are holding it.. or either the price is low so they will hold it until the price go high again.. thats basically it why do people hold bitcoins . enjoy cryptos folks

Bitcoin is a great technology . As you have mentioned, masses are attracted by its decentralized and anonymity . This is the most intelligent thing to do for trading Altcoin . There are mainly two reasons why I am holding on to my coins - the primary reason is that my coin holdings are too small to give me a sizable profit once it is sold. And the second reason is that I am optimistic about the future of Bitcoin.

People are holding bitcoin beacause it makes a good profit. If you held some bitcoins a few months ago, its value would have increase multiple times. People are just taking advantage of the current opportunity to grow their money, and the rewards outweigh the risk.

I totally agree. This is true most of the time. Which is pretty sad if you ask me. Since most of the people get into the crypto world because of the profit and not because of the solution it gives to various problems in this world. Which is why a lot does not know and doesn't even bother learning about how it works. This then results into people loosing money into scams, ponzis or being hacked. And then these people go and spit out shitty things about the crypto world because of their bad experiences being in it due to their carelessness and stupidity. This happens everyday and is truly undeniable. Unless people see crypto as something innovative and not just a mere source of profit, things will never change. |

Simply because when you hold longer, you'll eventually gain more value for your bitcoins. More value = more profit. If immediately sell your bitcoins at first sight of profit, then you'll never get the maximum profit of each bitcoin. So holding and selling it on the correct price allows you to get the best amount of bitcoins. |

People are holding bitcoins because they have faith in its potential and they have a feeling that bitcoin can make them super rich in future as if you look at the history of bitcoins then you will clearly notice that price has always gone in higher direction since its inception and since the beginning of this year we have seen price moving in positive direction so people have faith that it will go much higher in next few years.

People do hold bitcoins because with the rapid increase in price they wanted to earn more profit with their investmens. People now a days are trying to research and know how invest in bitcoin and now the community are getting bigger and the demand as well. So thats why the bitcoin price value is increasing. |

People holding bitcoins with two reason. First reason is that they wait for bigger price (someone for 6 digit number) so they will get more profit when will sell it. Second reason is they waiting when will be able to spend bitcoins in store like we do with fiat now. I'm holding in because I'm waiting that our country government solve the tax about bitcoins.
