defenitely bitcoin as first digital currency with the higher value than to fiat money the price of bitcoin so far more than the price value of gold so nothing to doubt why people holding bitcoin because of this value in the marketcap higher more than anything and as of now bitcoin continue to keep increasing the price, price value of bitcoin faster like the race car on the road, holding of bitcoin are the most profitable without worry of lossing unlike to other invesment have risk if you have nothing skills. |

People are holding bitcoins because they have believe that bitcoins can change their lives and that bitcoins price and value will be increasing in the near future so a lot of people wanted to earn bitcoins and then will save in their wallet for a long time. |

What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
People are holding their bitcoins to gain some profit or have some investments. Because as we all know, the price of bitcoins easily gets higher and higher as time passes by. And with that, people really wants to hold their bitcoin to have investments. Basically its the main reason why people hold their bitcoin assets, so they remain calm while the value still rises for the main time. Even if those panic sellers made such fluctuations, but it doesn't bring fears to the mature investors to just let their holdings to sell at earlier time. They kept on controlling their emotions and never cared for any dumps of some price surge, all I knew and observed from them is long terms holds took years before they dump the 40% of their profit and the remaining is the remaining investments which is the sustaining balances. |

And with that, people really wants to hold their bitcoin to have investments. That is correct, I guess that is the reason why we all are holding our bitcoin is because of what you have said. We earn it and hold it for more advantages, but if we needed the money that bad, then why not sell some, right? If I only have the money to buy some bitcoin when it had a huge price drop last month, I already made a huge profit by now. |

The very same reason that you hold gold(if you have any) or any valuable things that may appreciate its value in the near future. It is like having money but in digital form. They are hoping that the value of bitcoin will still go up and still doesnt know what is its stable range. Or they just want to save bitcoin for future use, who knows! but I think whatever their reasons maybe, holding bitcoins will trigger its price to increase because more people will be willing to buy bitcoin at a higher price.

Im part of a group wich has a lot different people but one thing they all do thats bitcoin savings, they all believe into its potencial and had set their own goals to trade their coins later. Bitcoin has huge potencial, soo savings into bitcoin will just keep growing as people understand the real value of it. The thing is why would someone sell or trade their coins knowing bitcoin potencial is very huge and into next year it might worth 10000 dollars...

What do you mean about critical situation? If you mean a drop of bitcoin price then it is just simply because that they knew that it will pump soon. Holding was the best thing to do than do panic selling because you wont earm there. Unlike in holding even it takes time and days before it pump, surely you can get profit from it. Me as a users of bitcoin I also do holding because I believe in bitcoin that it will continue to increase its price. |

Why are people holding gold, bitcoin is worth more then gold and bitcoin is a great asset just like gold. In respective of any price fall in bitcoin the holders of bitcoin knows it worth and that the price can never fall beyond they expectations so they are realized and holding on to they great asset which is bitcoin.

People use to hold bitcoins because the biycoin analyst says that its price will touch 10k $ mark in 2018. And in the current month people has witnessed that its price has jumped from around 4k to 6k. So that was a good jump in crypto market. So peiple beleive in its rise.
