CSW says as much if you pay attention.

if we're looking to this psycho tax dodging asshole for bitcoin guidance then we're in major trouble.
Just like Donald Trump and every other person or business of considerable net worth, it is in their own interest to pay as little tax as possible. You would do the same, I hardly see how that is relevant to his technical arguments.

I know you Segwitters love taxes, so much so that you even want to raise them perpetually, but please kindly shut the fuck up with your anti-logic propaganda. Thanks.

BitcoinTalk is a highly censored cesspool primarily serving as a vehicle to operate scams.
Pointing out truth or straying from the promoted narrative will be met with shills spouting non sequiturs.
Trust ratings are meaningless as those who control them are not worthy of trust.
Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Hi guys. Am not very technically literate so plz humour a noob question from me.
I just found out a freind of mine has been holding 19 bitcoins since 2016.

Is it too late for her to get BCH now?

No they are still there and will be forever until moved there is no time limit

Thanks a lot tekmobile for reply.
Can you plz post what  instructions my friend would need to follow in order to retreive and use the BCH.

*noob friendly* instructions please.
Thanks a million in advance.

anyone....i just hooked up with my freind.....can anyone tell me what wallett address i am looking for on blockdozer....*noob* freindly replies please.

just trying to access these BCH for my freind.

thanks in advance for any replies Smiley

If you want to make sure just check on blockdozer http://blockdozer.com/insight/ for the wallet address NOT the private key

Safest way is to move all BTC from the wallet to a new one

Then get a wallet that supports BCH (Electron cash is probably the easiest)
and just import the private key from the wallet that had the BTC in it and do what you want with it (move it to another wallet, exchange or just give me it and I will dispose of it lol)

Thanks for that.
Will communicate with my friend tomorrow and tell you how it went.

Mining is slow?! Average under 3 minutes per block for the last 100 blocks:

http://bch.xbt.it/?interval=10

Or were you referring to Bitcoin Segwit with over 15mins per block:

Antpools ratio on main chain seems to have dropped quite a bit but there does not seem to be a huge presence on here from them either wonder if it's related to loosing asicboost or some other thing

Anyone have thoughts on the next direction in this chart? Seems like we're headed for a mining profitability showdown between these two. Or maybe a simultaneous rise?

I'd like to see that chart overlayed on top of the actual hash power. That might give some indication of the latency between mining profitability and mining reaction time for those who switch (I'm not sure this has value but I want to see it)

I noted the media hadn't reported on the profitability swing until early this morning, well behind the actual swing.

Note the the near parity is comming at a time when BTC is getting ~4blocks/hr and BCH is getting ~25blocks/hr, its looking like miners are already starting to switch back to BTC which begs the questions, at parity will the miners jump back to BTC? will they jump back on BCH after the next difficulty adjustment->EDA cycle? or will the "other" miners try and drive the EDA even lower next time hoping 40+blocks/hr will be incentive enough? how long can this last?

I can't get it to overlay, but this gives an idea of hash rate to compare to profitability:

I have no idea why the sudden divergence in profitability. Anyone?

I think the reason for the sudden divergence in profitability is because of BTC fees increasing
A few more of these alternations and we might have a picture developing.

I'm adding services on the OP.
If you have some services that are using Bitcoin Cash, I can add them.
They must give at least the impression that there is some kind of work behind them. I will not add every random frontpage website created in few hours.

With these often swings between chains is slowly lowering the BTC difficulty which means the BCH chain needs to run at a lower and lower difficulty just to remain profitable.

It will get to the point where the BCH difficulty is so low to remain profitable especially if the BTC value keeps increasing that they will be a easy target for any miner that wants to do malicious things  Roll Eyes

You don't have any seg coins unless you moved all your BTC to a segwit wallet you will still have a legacy wallet and coins  Roll Eyes
