Is this the right time to buy bitcoin cash? Many are assuming that it will rise in the near future as it comes from the graph of its surge that already has a sign of going up. Although I know that crypto market is very difficult in prediction but it seems bitcoin cash has given some signs of increase

Here the analisys fundamental of bitcoins cash BCH:
As the blockchain’s days continue, BCH developers have been revealing the upcoming plans to improve the cryptocurrency’s protocol. Development shows the protocol’s programmers have a very ambitious roadmap for the digital currency’s future. This includes a deep focus on on-chain scaling, and not fearing hard forks down the road in order to upgrade the BCH software. Currently, there are fivedevelopment teams who say they are working with the BCH project, which include developers from Bitcoin ABC, Unlimited, Nchain, XT, and Classic. https://t.co/ibfhrcD7aO

...there is still zero evidence that tether actually has any real money at all.

...

A few weeks ago, I shared your doubts regarding the backing of the outstanding USDT.
However, you are aware that they have recently started releasing their audits?

You can find the few already finished audits at:
https://tether.to/tether-update/

Besides, I find it unlikely that exchanges like Poloniex and Bittrex that are making an absolute fortune
in 2017 due to the altcoin mania would be involved in Tether, if Tether would be indeed an unbacked
ponzi scheme. BTC/USDT trading volume on both of these exchanges surpasses 50 million $ most
of the days, which produces crazy income in trading fees!

wow this is so entertaining, but I just want to trade, so I think I'll just forget about the entertaining value you clowns add to this thread. At any rate, thanks for your invaluable contributions. You've made my day even though I've got other things to do than reading your sorry asses butthurt rantings and usual crap. It's a is pure waste of time, and in this business, you fools should know time is money, right?

Well, I don't know much, I just read what smarter people than me are saying... technical analysis say BTC needs to go down around 2950 to signal that a top has been made. That's why I think we will see a big leg down on BCH as well as all others. Shocked

TA don't work with crypto because miners dump whatever the price is going to be, FA don't because it lacks intrisic value, PERIOD. May I suggest you stop reading what smarter people than you are saying, it can lead you into a lot troubles, and you seem to be begging for it. Seems to me at best you're trolling, at worst you don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about, right?

I don't agree with you at all because the TA I look at has worked just fine and you seem to disagree with me which is fine too.

...but I do not care for the word "trolling" much. It is only used by those who want to marginalize the people who think differently than their herd. I will therefore, respectfully ask you to fuck right off.

You're twisted in huge knotts but that of course doesn't even prevent you from disagreeing, still you need to get your facts right, candles are painted on the charts just like the market makers want it to be, so that they can screw you up guys even harder and stronger when they dump or pump the price. And as far as your fucking right off thing is concerned, i respectfully beg you just do the same, thanks.

I wouldn't call those statements audits.
Tether promised to perform real quarterly audits - let's see if they're going to publish them any time soon.

Quote
As we are no longer banking in Taiwan, and given that we are achieving substantial scale, we have engaged Friedman, LLP, in New York, to perform comprehensive balance sheet audits on a quarterly basis going back to Dec 31, 2016. We will share those results with you as they become available in the coming weeks or months.

if you google that auditing firm there are also virtually no results, certainly not any type of website.

anyway let's see if they deliver eventually.

Quote
Regulators have decided on a comprehensive ban on channels for the buying or selling of the virtual currency in China that goes beyond plans to shut commercial bitcoin exchanges, according to people familiar with the matter.
...
A broader clampdown will likely include blocking mainland access to websites of foreign bitcoin exchanges such as Coinbase in
the U.S. and Bitfinex in Hong Kong
...

I'm guessing a massive dump is on the way! Shocked

I am really disgusted that Bitstamp is going to list this as well. There are so many good coins that will probably never make it to either Coinbase or Bitstamp but this fraud will be there for all the newbies to waste their money on it. Shame!

When things go down and they will go down real hard, Tether is a little too risky for my blood and frankly it gives me a real bad vibe but of course, there is no other option to trade "USD" in most exchanges, for example Bittrex so I have to use it but I keep my eye on it very closely. I moved my cash to Kraken, all in USD and EURO (no Tether).

Edit: It gives me bad vibe because I feel the old uncle Sam doesn't like it when they cut them off from the banks so basically, it's very risky imho.

I verified my account at Bittrex to trade with USD but after I did it, it only activated Tether for me. There is no option to withdraw USD to my bank account at all. Kraken seems trustworthy, I have verified account there too and tested to withdraw $5 or €5 or something and it worked fine and fast using SEPA.

Granted, trading BCH on Kraken is well, almost impossible. They have changed and removed to many things in the name of "performance" bla bla bla so really, it's a slow motion place for "trade". Prices always much higher than other exchanges when you want to buy and much lower when you want to sell.

But again, I don't dare parking more than about 1-2K USD in Tether in Bittrex. With or without audit, I don't care. If I can't withdraw it to my bank account, it's a risky "asset".

By the way, thank you for bringing this Tether subject up. I had a lot of USD in Tether. A very foolish thing of me.

BTC back up above $4K, BCH hanging around $490. Was I wrong on my TA prediction? I will soon find out. Hopefully not in the painful way!  Cheesy Embarrassed Grin

Glad you got out of USDT - it smells rotten to me, and crypto is already a fairly high-risk environment...

Thanks for your insights on Kraken/Bittrex - I've been using Poloniex for awhile but I feel like their days are numbered. Also, support is non-existent so if your withdrawal gets flagged - you won't see your funds for at least 30 days, if you see them at all...

BCH seems to be holding strong, and mining profitability is 1.04x BTC due to BTC difficulty hike.

why wouldn't they? they're in the business of making money. everyone has bcash and most are looking to sell. that's a big pile of fees for them.

Yea for a very short time the few miners that are supporting this switched a lot of hashing power over for the last part of the adjustment period instead of leaving it alone and keeping the profitability for the next 2 weeks it will be pushing the difficulty up a lot like ~35% possibly even 40% or more

Technically, China can't ban bitcoin traffic, we have our own sync network. But if China gov say mining is illegal, we are fucked.

Nobody is fucked, absolutely nothing will happen except the difficulty adjusting.

My list of 43(+3) reviewed Bitcoin forks | You don't have to download the pre-fork blockchain again for each fork! | Beware of fraudulent AWS accounts sellers and dangerous edu AWS codes! + My personal list of legit sellers and scammers | Never publicly reveal your btc addresses, ownership or any other details and stay very far away from anybody who asks you to! | The general rule of safe buying is: if the seller is a newbie, with no reputation, with no topic nor trust feedback, offering no vouches and/or selling from a locked or self-moderated topic and unwilling to go first or use escrow => AVOID. Always check the trust feedback first and make sure that you have enabled "Show untrusted feedback by default" in "Profile / Forum Profile Information".
