I thought Quark was long gone. It has been around since 2013 and went high and low in the pumps and dumps then other crypto came along and people dumped it.

Is it still active?

At the moment, this project looks alive. I think that it continues to work, but the negative situation on the cryptocurrency market breaks its plans.

Cryptopia will delist your coin and at the moment there is no other exchanges.
So your coin is worthless now.

Cryptopia will delist your coin and at the moment there is no other exchanges.
So your coin is worthless now.
In fact the largest exchange has always been BTC38

It's now called AEX
Currently has 60 million COINS in the AEX exchange
This is its website

www.bit.cc
www.aex.com

Cryptopia gives me the opportunity to voice, if the communication is good, may not be delist

And we will list on other exchanges

At least seven exchanges around the world now open quark trade

If Cryptopia cannot be traded, I think people will choose NOVA next

So don't worry

Our goal is to become one of the most popular digital currencies

Our insistence is:
It doesn't change the name
It doesn't change the icon
Keep the quark algorithm
Never take people's COINS (no matter how many years later, people can reuse their COINS simply by upgrading their wallets)

We will definitely complete the upgrade of the masternode and make the network and ecology more stable.

It only took me 3 hours to load all the data from the beginning. I think it's your network problem.

Hi Quark Team,

Thank you for your inquiry regarding Quark.

In accordance with our delisting policy, we have made the decision to delist Quark. The delisting policy can be viewed here:

I have 16mbs connection and i tell you that it will take a month to sync. You must upload a boot strap r complete blockchain.

Since you have a great connection, it will cost you nothing to upload the bootstrap.

forexhercules, maybe this still works from last year

At last an updated already re-indexed POS blockchain bootstrap.

To sync in a few minutes.

Back up your wallet before using this bootstrap!!!!!
Please Note

Back up wallet.dat file, the most important thing to do, so you don't lose your coins (if you don't know how to do it, ask for assistance first) or follow instructions below

Your wallet.dat file containing your balance and transaction history is located within your Quarkcoin folder. C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Quarkcoin

1. Copy the wallet.dat file directly from the Quarkcoin folder (C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Quarkcoin) and save it safely on your pc where you can easily locate it, if needed.

2. Rename the above mentioned "Quarkcoin" folder to Quarkcoinoldbackup.

3. Download the latest build of quark wallet and save to hard drive.  https://github.com/quark-project/quark/releases/tag/v0.10.6.3

4. Install the latest build of Quark. Close down the wallet immediately after completion of installation if you left the run automatically after installation checked.

5. Open the newly created Quarkcoin folder, (not the Quarkcoinoldbackup)  C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Quarkcoin and delete all the files within it. Do not overwrite existing files just to ensure no conflicts. leave the Quarkcoin folder open for the next step.

6. Copy and paste your wallet.dat file from your Quarkcoinoldbackup folder into your now empty Quarkcoin folder.

7. Download bootstrap zip file and save to your hard drive. https://mega.nz/#!YPRFzRob!iS20lMoV0aNM_byOuF9I1yGs6rYLovWxq1pessN_AuM]https://mega.nz/#!YPRFzRob!iS20lMoV0aNM_byOuF9I1yGs6rYLovWxq1pessN_AuM]https://mega.nz/#!YPRFzRob!iS20lMoV0aNM_byOuF9I1yGs6rYLovWxq1pessN_AuM

8. Unzip bootstrap and extract the 2 folders into the Quarkcoin folder you just pasted your wallet.dat file into.  If having trouble to unzip install winRAR. https://www.win-rar.com/postdownload.html?&L=0

9. Open wallet and sync in a few minutes.

To Stake:
1. Open Quark wallet latest build v0.10.6.3
2. select help - debug window
3. select console tab
4. enter into console text field:     walletpassphrase mywalletpassphrase 100000
                                                          ^                          ^                      ^
(command)        (your passphrase)     (number of seconds for unlock)

5. press ctrl L to clear your console.
6. close debug window and watch your coins get minted if they are 30 days old or greater.

Happy staking!!!!

Item 4. is the unlocking procedure to stake and mint your coins. This is only required if your wallet is encrypted.

Video tutorial I just found to help.    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIe2tqaLxfQ

Cheers

Let's move on

"Delisted because it has been delisted."

aka nutty/mad/irrational customer support

Great idea delist all stable organic decentralized projects (ie; the original  post-Cryptsy principles that made Cryptopia the exchange that it is) and ignore all the real deadwood dead network PAID listings.

If we have developer certification in Bittrex, then we may be listed.

We'll look for that member.

The low number of connections is only temporary

I only had one connection yesterday, but now I have eight

If you keep your wallet open, you will find that it is not what you expected

At any given time, I've never seen anyone needing a monthly update

I don't think it's more than 1-3 days

If you do spend more than a week

You can paste it here

I'll consider getting help to rent servers in your area to set up nodes
