Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Who said anyone was eager for it outside that reason?

Ah thanks - started mining but a small initial boost makes it so much better.

From the website:
Secure
Wallet encryption allows you to secure your wallet, so that you can view transactions and your account balance, but are required to enter your password before spending WorldCoins. This provides protection from wallet-stealing viruses and trojans.

must be secure...

You missing the point....Is 60 seconds enough time, to make sure the transaction can not be reversed. Is the coin isteslf secure, not your friggin wallet

No, you have to wait longer than 60 seconds for it to be secure.  Same reasoning behind waiting for BTC to clear after only 3 confirms and LTC 6 confirms.  But BTC took almost an hour to clear 3 confirms yesterday, for me.  Even Chinacoin with 10 confirms and its bloated diff cleared faster.  And I'm betting 30-40 WDC confirms will clear faster still...

It is a very fast coin. Not sure about instant, but from what I gather, faster then any other existing coin

yeah you don't want to flood people with it too soon, give it a week or so, then start e-mailing exchanges, etc...  Do need to push it into a pump and dump scenario.  Dev's obviously put a lot of time into this and made the launch successful!  I think we may finally have our next contender....

Keep mining without asking exchanges, if this hits exchanges too fast the difficulty will be multiplied by x5!

I love to see a site like CoinBomb or the "bitpotato scammers" with this coin.

The worst enemy of Bitcoin is Mt.Gox exchange.
