i don't know if this has been mentioned before, but if they want to encourage the average person to use etn there needs to be an easy way to exchange. there probably won't be a way to exchange fiat and etn, but atleast btc and/or eth so they can use other means to get fiat and/or make purchases. something like shapeshift would be ideal for the smartphone users. maybe they can get it listed there or have it built into the wallet. having that simplicity in exchanging would really help etn grow in value and users.
I agree, i wonder the same. If people gonna use etn to pay within poorer communitys they should have an app that follows market price where you simply can put in fiat price of a product and it automaticly converts to equal amount of etn. Gonna be hard to keep track of market price if you going to pay for foods and whatnot. |

waw it's very fast progress if only one month increase reaches $ 0.90 so if we happen to experience the profit sometimes we get coins but not directly we sell we just hold it in the hope the price will soared but rarely if it happened like that this includes a great ico |

Pc is required for dedicated mining, mobile mining is just for mass adoption. Pools will be created soon I think. |

So only after november 1st can we start mining? What timezone? Were can I get more info? I really dislike having so little information because, you know, ninja launch and stuff... |

I don't really understand this token. So it is a ERC20 token, right? So how can you mine it if it is an ethereum based token, I thought ERC20 tokens are not minable, you can only stake them as far as I know.
But people are talking about PC and mobile phone mining. I heard something about fictive mobile mining which means the app will calculate your smartphone's CPU power and compare it to other users and than you will be receiving proportional amount of tokens. So you will not actually mine but it will be more like an airdrop for users who will run Electroneum app.
But now I'm even more confused if it is true that there will be actual mining but only for desktop computers.

Wrong its a fork of Monero, not an ERC20 token whatsoever!! And you were correct on the second part. Hopefully this clears up the confusion. |

I invested in ETN with 30% bonus, I put about 1000$ and get 85k ETN
It mean I pay 0.011$ per ETN.
So now I'm trying to estimate the price of ETN the 1st november.
The marketcap was stopped at 40m$ for 24 000 000 000 ETN...
but currently we don't know how many ETN has been selled during the ICO?
Someone has the answer ?

Careful, you are putting yourself in danger to be scammed. Remember, the blockchain doesnt even go live until Nov 1st, so anyone saying they can send you the coins before then are not telling the truth. If you insist, please at least use escrow. Still, although this protects your investment money, it doesnt protect your investment because the seller can back out of the deal if the value goes up, and go through with the deal if the value goes down. This puts you at a huge disadvantage! Remember 9 out of 10 responses to your offer will be scam attempts. It is best to wait for the exchange and pay close attention when it goes live, and be there ready. |

Total coins to be mined over the many years is 21 Billion, not 24 Billion The total # of coins sold in the ICO is 4.4 Billion. Ok it means that we currently lost about 10% cause we bought the coin at 0.01$ and : 40 000 000(marketcap)/ 44 000 000 000(supply) = 0.009090 $ Why did you stop the sell at 40m dollars ......................... ? |

Incredible news just before the launch. Being based off Monero is outstanding, and shows the team has continued to work hard. They could have continued with the Bytecoin code which was ready, but they decided to push harder. Thanks team! The 1 eCent transfer fee is a great addition as well. |
