I never understand the purpose of the vault. It has 0 advantage, absolutely 0. You can transfer it out anytime, so it's not locked or anything. It won't pay you any dividends or whatever. So why would I use it is the question?

The only purpose it's used for is for sending your level up funds or maybe some loss back bonus from your host. But they could also just send it to your wallet instead of that. Sending it too the vault is rather annoying because you have to transfer it out after they sent it.

Agreed. Experiencing the ninja investor of Blackjack.fun makes me think that the vault is indeed useless for normal gambler like me since I can just withdraw easily my funds for paying less than 1$ for fee then it’s safe and sound on my non custodial wallet.

Ive been checking my email everyday since Chinese New Year just in case stake.com will send us the post monthly bonus but they didn’t. Not sure if last year same month they sent it but I do always expect that they will send it because of occasion like this the Chinese New Year.. Other casinos sent some bonuses because of chinese new year. It looks like stake.com wont send postmontly this month as weekly bonus is about to come this weekend.

We received pre monthly earlier this month and as long as I remember there was no history when we received pre and post monthly on the same month. If there were Chinese New Year bonus in a form of post monthly bonus, I guess it was because there were no pre monthly bonus on that month so they used the Chinese New Year moment to send post monthly bonus. Maybe we can hope another pre monthly bonus on the 1st week of February then Valentine bonus in a form of monthly bonus a week later.

LOL I think the same thing as you, but unfortunately there is no bonus. No problem, maybe we are too hopeful and before we also get some bonuses, for me at least 3-4 bonuses during January so maybe February is the right time to wait for another bonus. In the next 2 weeks almost all casinos/sportsbooks will offer promos or bonuses related to the Super Bowl Event, I'm sure stake will not miss this one so preparation for your statistics before 15 February

That's an incredible win right there, wow, absolute congrats to them.

And one thing I've actually learnt from the video (even though it's very short) is that big winnings come more when we least expect it, like that time when you gambled and lost and simply just want go all in and loose the last of your account balance so you know you have an empty bankroll, just that moment, you hit the big jackpot, and for like five to ten seconds, you just may be staring at your screen and asking yourself if this is real or you are dreaming.

You make a valid point about security for both sides, and I’d happily accept this had it been implemented earlier. Unfortunately, it’s happening now, which complicates things for users like me who registered before these new rules.

This only reinforces my argument: why is Stake suddenly making KYC mandatory now? Which regulation or ruling is driving this sudden change? Really perfect timing for them considering my case as they can now say: Look! We made it mandatory! We comply with all rules!

I really hope they run out of business. All these years of money laundering, fraud and more just goes unnoticed at this point

That said, this regulation of a thing can't be blamed on Stake still, is Stake a no-KYC casino? No. The world is revolving, and things change. Even exchanges that served people for many years without a KYC later came to ask all their customers for it, a very good example is OKX. Stake cannot be different in this regard and it is in the best position to give the true reason for the action, we can only suspect reasons.

And some of what I suspected were regulations, it costs Stake nothing to keep its customers without KYC if the authorities allow it. But I tell you today, there are many allegations and legal battles such a big name will be fighting underneath, so they have to comply with all regulations to save its neck.

On top of it all, Stake made sure that a regular message was being displayed on the member area as a countdown reminder for the exercise and even updated that failure to do it would automatically set the account into a withdraw-only mode. If you can withdraw your money, is there any shadiness in that? I can't understand people and their inclination to dissatisfaction and lawlessness.

You can't really blame them though since the whole point of crypto gambling sites was to avoid KYC and to play anonymously which was possible before, but not anymore thanks to world governments pressuring them intensely.

You have a good point, that's actually what Satoshi would have wanted. Still, we don't have to deceive ourselves, no responsible government would allow such for too long. Private individuals can maintain those characteristics (privacy and anonymity) in their closets but not a duly registered and popular establishment operating a centralised system. This is why I faulted the OP, didn't he know that Stake is centralised and KYC casino? It is now beyond the intention of crypto but the obligation of an establishment (Stake) to the law and regulation.

This must be bonus for those Chinese players only, as all Stake's players are verified so it is easy for Stake to know about the nationality or even religion of the players.
In other words, there must be a database on Stake where they can see all their players specific information so they can send bonuses for specific moment such as Chinese New Year, Eid Mubarak, Easter or some other things if Stake want to.
Although I'm not fully agree if bonuses are based on such a criteria but Stake have the right to do it as they are the one that spend the money

Yeah, this happens all the time. Sometimes you expect a bigger weekly and suddenly it's much lower than what you expected. Sometimes though you have very limited wager/loss but suddenly the weekly is much higher compared to recent weeks. I will never understand that.
Stake rarely gives bonus or whatever for local holidays. I mean, I have lived in Taiwan for 3 years, never got any CNY bonus or whatever. Doesn't really matter what your passport says since people often enough live somewhere around the world as an expat.

But I found it surprising in the comment section when a guy tried to downplay a $300 win.
