Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ?

I think NO I predict there will be new currency may evolve after 100 years more advance than bitcoin today maybe in terms of speed of transactions and security features and I supposed many of us here have already dead when this happen.

there are 2 possibilities. between surviving and being replaced
by now the benefits of bitcoin are peaked at number 1 even though many new coins are popping up. and etherium today want to try to compete with bitcoin even though etherium step is still far behind bitcoin. but it remains possible that etherium may rival bitcoin and may even be superior to the next 100 years.

Bitcoin has no life force anyway so it will be probably outlive us all. It'll also be immortalized in the history books as one of the best and powerful digital currency availablr for everyone from the 21st century. Bitcoin will outbest papermoney, and maybe our mortal lives as well.

Yeah right, just live for the moment.  Anyways we are happy as of this time on how bitcoins are doing with our lives.  It is really amazing to see that bitcoin makes our dreams and our goals seems possible.  And because of that I guess, bitcoin can last up to 100 years if we will continue to support it right now.  And then telling them to our child and to younger generations about what it can do.

All bets are off how advanced we will be in 100 years. Life extension, ASI, robots, quantum computers, colonies on other planets/moons etc. But bitcoin may still be around (assuming we still use currency) of course it will have changed immeasurably, perhaps it'd even be something strange like QuantumBitcoin or something lol

100 years is a long time. Think of the technological advancement humans have made from 1917 to 2017.
IMO there might rise another alternative for bitcoin in that time, but the way I see it is that cryptocurrency is the way in the future.

I think bitcoin will be the gold of cryptocurrencies and another coin for everyday use.

Its really hard to say.
As of now, as bitcoin is just starting and it is gaining more and more popularity and acceptance to people very fast and it is also yet to replace Fiat money completely at least now. I believe that it would really survive in a 100 years. Because as time passes by, it would really come up with something better or a better system. And many bitcoin user will still love bitcoin.

for me its depents in the industry with entrepreneurs if to invest in bitcoin for me that many consumers in bitcoin will last for a bitcoin industry so the investor may be more numerous to take the bitcoin long life

I think a way much better technology would have taken over it.... actually, many altcoins now have better and more use cases than Bitcoin, so I guess it would be over taken in not time! Although the name will always be there but may not still be the king

This is like asking if Money will survive the next 100 years. As long as there is a means to exchange goods and services money is needed.

Since Bitcoin is a money for the Internet and I am so positive the Internet would still be available in the next 100 years, then Bitcoin would still be available and might be worth millions of dollar by then.

That makes BITCOIN a good inheritance for the future yet unborn.

I think bitcoin will survive more than 100 years, although it will have a lot of fork along the way to become better currency. Even after 100 years i believe there's still people who use bitcoin.

Bitcoin is getting powerful in day by day,but after 100 years!!!! ?   .Our wold is like a super computer every day something is always coming upgraded and spectacular  applications , like that ;not only after 100 years there is a chance for coming before it. I cannot say confidently because it is 100 years and I'm surely not gonna exist in that day, but for now, I'm gonna say that it is a yes, they can survive in within the 100 years that long. I cannot say that they are still the most expensive because a lot of things might happen in that, maybe they will be a new technology that will beat bitcoins, but lets hope that day won't happen because in that year my bitcoins will be on my legacy they will have a lot of money if bitcoins are still the most successful.

Everything that's on earth has a beginning and has an end and every thing is meant to die . But it will certainly grow bigger and get known at a very larger scale especially in our era where's the world is going toward digital payment and that's where Bitcoin shines . I can't say for sure if it'll be alive or not in 100 years from now , but if he does manage to do that , i'm pretty sure it'll be the number 1 currency all around the world .

looking at the state of Bitcoin after 100 years from now, it will be a high development and Ranking to Bitcoin, and a room for other crypto currency to be used maybe worldwide.

I think it's really hard cause the total amount of Bitcoin is limited so I don't know what will happen when the total amount of Bitcoin is mined out. In my opinion I think Bitcoin can survive at least 10 - 15 more years but for 100 years, I'm not really sure about it. Maybe in next 100 years, Bitcoin still survive but it'll not stand at the 1st place on coin market anymore and the price will be dumped very low cause maybe there will be some better altcoin will replace Bitcoin with bigger total supply amount

I think that bitcoin will outlive us all. Of course, it's hard to guess what will happen in 100 years, but I think that by that time bitcoin will not only live, but will rule the world. After all, at the moment, blockchain technology is used in many large-scale industries, it means that it has all chances to consolidate for a long time in the system of the world economy.
