I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?

after 100 years we maybe dead and many things gone
but if Internet still running bitcoin will survive

I can not imagine it, because I do not know. maybe in the next 10 or 20 years I can still speculate or predict about bitcoin. yes bitcoin will always be popular as long as the people involved in it grow more and more.

it's hard to know is bitcoin will survive or will disappear in next 100 years, depend on people who use bitcoin and the goverment. we don't know if things like china do to bitcoin will happen again or not, but when every country banned bitcoin there are people still using bitcoin

Bitcoin impacted money, the way cars impacted old transportation methods.

a 100 years ago someone probably asked the same thing:
will cars survive a 100 years?

They certainly did, but with continuous changes & regulations (traffic rules, roads, gas stations, GPS ... etc)

we don't know what the currency that will be used in 2117, but Bitcoin will impact most future currencies in a way.

It is true that no one can tell what will happen in the future so it is hard to view the future of bitcoin after 100 years. But i think bitcoin can still survive and much developed providing more activities and benefits to all users wherein everybody can use it.

Of course, bitcoin will do survive after 100 years because many people are still using it and it will be useful in the future especially when technology becomes greater.
Bitcoin is a source of income for many and it make their transactions easier, like buying online, shopping, payments and many more.
I am sure that many people will pursue to make bitcoin still alive in the next years.

Changes.... changes.. that is the consistent thing in this world and 100 years is a very long time to go and i can't imagine that bitcoin is still in this world because in my opinion, there will be a new cryptocurrency that will dominate the whole market of the cryptocurrency and they maybe replace the top coins in the market including bitcoin.

Bitcoin will survive after 100 years and Bitcoin will survive after 1000. Even 10,000. Even 100,000! You get my point. It is perfect money and because it's open source, decentralized, and voluntary it will continue to survive.

A lot of things can happen in just a hundred of years, that is too much time, and it is impossible to predict how long can bitcoin last. And we can not even know if bitcoin will survive by next year, it is not possible.
But there have been a lot of changes in bitcoin this year, and i think this has been the best year for bitcoin.. At the end of the year, bitcoin is going to be one of the first coins that have been hard forked two times, i think that we are facing a lot of events, and we can not predict what is going to happen in 100 years..

If it stays strong and miners are still mining it will be around in one hundred years. I wonder how many decimal places there will be tho. As long as the block chain doesn't get hacked or anything it should be ok.

Bitcoin will almost 100% survive for 100 years but it may not be prosperous after those 100 years. It is difficult to predict the future but I feel it is likely that Bitcoin will be the coin to make the breakthrough in to mainstream usage but will then be replaced.

wow 100 years? come on. but in 100 years i think aliens would invade earth, and that is the prediction of scientist, im serious... but if that wont happen bitcoin will surely survive, many people are on it nowadays and see how can it help for themselves, so in the future (100 years) there would be a lot of user in in bitcoiin world / cyrptoworld.

100 years is too long I do not hope it can last so long but 10 years maybe it is still the king of the crypto market.
