Can you tell Fortune? Why do you think internet will die? However, in one thing you are probably right — I also doubt that Bitcoin will be used in a hundred of years. The blockchain with renewed technologies however, will be used.

according to Stephen Hawking, mankind will not survive the next 100 years, if we are continuing like today (ok, he promoted to fly to Mars instead, but that will not solve the problems at all..and, frankly, who wants to live deep in the earth, since it’s impossible to live on the surface due to heave cosmic radiation).

So, we shall rather fix current problems very quickly, which are:
1 ) climatic change
2 ) renewable and clean energies
3 ) depletability of resources
4 ) demographic development
5 ) Migration

So, if we can't handle the issues, Bitcoin will be gone as well...

There are many unforeseen future and all we need to do is follow the flow. It may take hundreds of years. It may not be And when it comes to it. Probably we are gone and will become a story. Our children may also follow the paths we take and also order them to be their children.

It could survive 100 years not just by a 100 years probably it long last more than a hundred years. This type of currency gaves people hope and all we can do is to support so that we can maintain to benefit in bitcoin.

Nah, is not going to happen... the quantum computers should be done before 100 years... to be exact it should be done before the next 10 years.

I don't think so, going by the current transaction cost and transaction speed. BTC would not be the relevant source of transaction, even today. It is good for investment purpose though (for which it was not meant).

We would get more robust and strong technology in coming years and that point of time popularity of Bitcoin would fed. Even today blockchain technology is considered more useful then Bitcoin.

Bitcoin will definitely survive after 100 or 200 years, every day new crypto currencies are entering the crypto network,but as bitcoin is the first and top most crypto currency all are interested in the bitcoin and block chain technology and every other day new investors of bitcoins and entering the bitcoin network which makes to increase the demand for bitcoins resulting in increased price of bitcoins. The bitcoin has changed the world to a more digitalized world making all transactions and payments all over the world very easy.

It’s a software which relies on the network to support it so if the network dies then the software dies with it

I think Bitcoin will survive more than 100 years as right now it is in it's developing stage and is still producing and its popularity is increasing day by day .But I'm not sure that it's popularity,security and high value will there be or not after 100 years.

I do have some doubt about it.  No thing is permanent in our world.  I think bitcoin will service but i cant say until when it will stay in the market. Our technology changes from time to time so i guess by that time there will be more advance technology that will be coming and may be better than todays latest technology.

You already said it that there is nothing permanent in this world so we can expect that bitcoin will not be able to survive for 100 years because that is too long to wait and to speculate because even after 20 years, we can expect some replacement for bitcoin because of its outdated technology and few features compare to other cryptocurrencies.

That’s assuming that the goverments don’t kill all the cryptocurrency out there in the first place for BITCOIN to stay

Yeah the technology will become outdated af by then and newer cryptocurrency will replace BITCOIN there

Frankly speaking we can't predict bitcoin will survive after 100 years or not. technology changes day by day, bitcoins popularity increasing day by day it's here to stay. but as i say we can't predict anything about bitcoins survival. if it will survived then it's great.

maybe some people do not realize what bitcoin is. They do not know how it works and how to use it. They do not believe in bitcoin because of lack of knowledge. One of the reasons why people do not trust bitcoin is that it does not print the original currency. such as dollars and euros or other of his. because the bitcoin of digital currency and all the functions associated with bitcoin are based on technology and the internet. If the bitcoin in 100 years is nothing. Bitcoin will last for more than 1000 years as long as the people will be fine and the world is still intact. Buy or hold and I am sure you will benefit greatly in the long run.
