I've checked it. Everything looks good.
Maybe it was just busy at this moment.
Best regards.

What a wonderful tool this is to maintain my Crypto Portfolio.

Thank you so much!!!

Would it be possible to add XRP as a coin?  I know technically it is not, but it is collected and traded as such.

There is a decent API for Ripple to USD price, recognized as the standard for pricing:
http://www.rippleprice.com/

If there is anything I can do to help facilitate XRP to your list of coins,  please let me know.

Very happy to send you LTC donation your way, and would encourage others to please do the same
if they have not already.

Smiley

Keep up the good work!!

Stewart

Hi Stewart,

First of all thank you for your praise.

Inserting new currencies is relatively complicated, since many locations have to be adjusted in the website.
However, on my to-do list is a great thing for which I'll worry about next.
It's about more real currencies at MY-BTC.
This wish came already by many users. It includes CAD $, AUS $, GBP, CHF and many other currencies.

To implement this currencies, I need to adjust a lot of things on the website, so I can install XRP as well in the same run.

I'll try to get back in the next two weeks.
But I can not promise it though :-)

You could help me by finding an API that offers a XRP to BTC course.
Cryptsy would be optimal, but they do not provide XRP. And Bitstamp offers XRP, but I could not find a course-ticker in their API for Ripple.

Once I have a working interface, I can start the work :-)

I wish you a nice evening and thank you.
Dario

Thanks for your prompt response.

Here are some links that hopefully have what your need for the XRP to BTC api:

http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/rippleXRP.html
https://ripplecharts.com/market/XRP/BTC:Bitstamp
https://ripplecharts.com/
http://www.rippleprice.com/  (USD price per ripple, matches bitstamp btc/xrp chart prices)

Additional resources:
https://ripple.com/forum/index.php
http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/7573/where-can-i-find-how-much-one-xrp-ripple-unit-is-worth

Bitstamp Exchange seems to be the defacto price gauge for XRP at this time.

Thanks Dario!!!

Appreciate your time and effort with this awesome tool.

I did notice one tiny quirk when using LTC.
In the Balance screen, under "Purchase value of my coins" it is not reporting the correct LTC spot price.

On my account it shows $4.80, instead of the current BTC-e range of $4.22 - $4.25. (not sure if LTC has ever gone
to $4.80 on BTC-e)

I will send you an attachment via PM so you can see.

Thanks!

Hey Stew,

I can tell you, why the price is a little bit higher than on BTC-E.
The thing is, that I do not monitor the LTC to USD price, but only the LTC to BTC price.

So the tool first converts the LTC price to BTC and then from BTC to USD.
In general, this has no great effect. However, it's currently quite possible that the LTC course has not yet adapted to the rapid increased BTC price.
But I think that will happen within 1-2 days.

As an alternative, you can watch the values in BTC instead of USD.

Best wishes,
Dario

Dario,

I had not even realized that fact, about such a huge btc-e disparity between ltc//btc
and ltc/usd values... And I deal exclusively with ltc/btc the whole time.
Sorry for being such a noob.
But I do feel better by actually knowing im a bit richer with my ltc. Smiley
Will pm you this weekend about some possible opportunities for you and
your amazing Web site.
Enjoy your weekend.

Hi,

If I have two API jobs setup (Gox and BTCe) and I transfer 1 BTC from Gox to BTCe should this show correctly?  The transfer just shows as -

Code:
3.11.2013 - 14:50 (Mt.GOX job - added on 13.11.2013 14:50)	0 days ago
You have transferred 0,00000000 into 0,00000000 edit | delete

I dont get a BTCe job either.  Should I edit this job to say 1 BTC for 0 USD and create a BTCe buy of 0 USD to 1BTC?

I've just checked the API importer. They are working good.
Maybe there was just a short problem with the GOX API.

Are both API jobs in one account or in two diffenrent accounts?
If in one account, then you don't have to do anything, because it's a transfer of 1 BTC to 1 BTC so you can skip it.

The BTCe importer will not track this transaktion, because he only tracks trades and this is a deposit if BTC.

If this happens again, please give me a message so I can check this in detail.
But I think, it should work fine now.

Best wishes
Dario

Its all 1 account.  Ahh ok.  I'll ignore the line as at the end of the day the number of BTC hasnt changed, though I have to remember that my rate will be slightly off as I have 2 different exchange prices in play.  (I guess I could switch to BTCe from Gox rate and then anything above will be a bonus)

Still loving the service!  But not sure how this could be done but some way of having trades associated to the API job use the local exchange rate (of the API) and then have.

Eg

MtGox API - Buy 1 btc @ 250USD
BTCe API - Buy 1 btc @ 220USD

Then prices go up 10% the Profit/Loss would show $50 with MtGox and $44 with BTCe, when infact it should be $47 ($25+$22)

Hope this makes sense Smiley

Also +1 for an Android Balance App Cheesy

Keep up the good work Dario!!

Yes, that does make sense. However, I do not know any financial site, the works on this principle.
There is only one reference price. Whether for gold, stocks, commodities or Pork Bellies :-)
With Bitcoins, it is of course somewhat different.

I have set the reference rate to Mt.Gox in my account.
For that reason, that I always sell at GOX, since they have the best course.
So if I buy cheap BTC at BTC-E and transfer them to GOX, I have already made profit automatically, because the price is usually better at GOX.

If you want to evaluate your purchases of BTC-E and GOX individually, you need two accounts.
In one account you trackst then your BTC-E trades, and in the other the GOX trades.
Under Settings you can connect both accounts by the way, but still choose a different course in each account.

Hope this helps Smiley

PS: An Android APP will come in December!
