Cost for a lifetime use 0,68 btc - $1224 i think that's kinda expensive, with $500 i would gladly pay the lifetime price but then i just stay with the free version

Hey, The prices are automatically adjusted to the BTC price. Converted in USD, they are still as high as a month ago. BTW: You can get a 10% discount with the referrer link in my signature and additional 5% for payments in BTC.
Best, Dario

Hi Dario. Fantastic web app! I decided to get the unlimited plan just in time for tax season last month. I love like the depth of features. It's almost perfect, which is a rare thing for me to say (I find most software either lacks features I desire, or is feature-bloated at the expense of usability). I have just a couple suggestions for you: 1) On the Google Trends page, "cryptocurrency" is a key term to track. It gets much greater international search volume than "digital currency", and is currently showing a parabolic move: https://trends.google.ca/trends/explore?q=digital%20currency,cryptocurrency,blockchainIt's particularly useful for gauging new users entering the sector, as searches like "best cryptocurrency" and "buy cryptocurrency" are much more prevalent than "buy digital currency": https://trends.google.ca/trends/explore?q=best%20digital%20currency,best%20cryptocurrency,buy%20cryptocurrency,buy%20digital%20currency"Blockchain" and "Cryptocurrency" are both useful terms with very different search patterns. The steady climb in "blockchain" vs exponential spikes in "cryptocurrency" suggests to me that "cryptocurrency" is more of a buzzword that travels via viral media and word of mouth, while "blockchain" is a measure of steady industry growth, used by those who are already familiar. 2) The Dashboard homepage would be ideal if the Summary tab also gave 24 hour % gain (and ideally the option to sort by 24 % gain/loss). As it stands I constantly switch between the dashboard and currency balance just to check this. Checking % gain/loss at a glance is the only reason I still use the Blockfolio app. CoinTracking.info is infinitely more powerful, and more useful to me in pretty much every other way. Keep up the great work! -Tim

Hey Arkaen and thanks a lot. 1) I have added "cryptocurrency" into the Google Trend Chart 2) Yeah, I know. I have tried to add %-changes into the summary box but it was to much information. What do you think of this? https://cointracking.info/dashboard-test.php (just a test version) Best regards, Dario

1.Does the free version allow you to import to taxact/turbotax ? Also it only allows 100 trades for a tradereport? 2. I saw the lifetime version is .64 BTC (over 1grand) and for one year of trades it is 102 USD. Even if the price goes up (let's say to 10,000) it would be over 5 times more. Will the price ever adjust to normal standards?

Hey, Yes, the free version allows you to export to taxact/turbotax, but will calculate only a maximum of 100 trades. The price basis is USD and the shown BTC price will adjust depending on the current market price.
Best regards, Dario

Dario, The import from Bittrex worked perfectly. However, when I tried to import from Coinbase, everything appeared to go just as smoothly except there are no trades listed for Coinbase. I looked at the content of the .CSV files (BTC,LTC and ETH) from withing CoinTracking and there appears to be trade info in those files, but nothing shows up when I update the calculations.
Do you have any ideas about how to debug this problem?
This trade tracking platform is so exciting. I can't wait to get it up and running with all my trades.

Hey and thanks a lot.
Really? I just tested it with my Coinbase CSV file and it worked well. Are you sure, you have exported the "Buys, sells, and merchant payouts" file from Coinbase?
Best, Dario

Ok thanks! I hope i am able to afford it one day. BTW I used transaction history to import from coinbase Report > New report At the bottom of cointracking it says "use transaction history" Hope that helped the guy asking about csv files not uploading.

Dario said: Are you sure, you have exported the "Buys, sells, and merchant payouts" file from Coinbase? Actually, I had it set on "Transaction History" just like Plick9 said he did (but CoinTracking didn't import anything. At your suggestion, I set the New Report to "Buys, sells, and merchant payouts" and THAT file comes out empty, so no import. BTW, I opened the "transaction history" report using Notepad and there is definitely data in that file. Here's what Cointracking says after importing the file with data in it. Import Report: Validation: Datasets in import file: 13, Trades: 0 Notes: Duplicate Trades found: 0 Errors: Empty Timestamps: 0, Empty values: 0 Your import data looks good.

Hey,
I would recommend the "Buys, sells, and merchant payouts" export. The "Transaction" file from Coinbase is kinda broken and far away from being a good readable csv file.
I'm surprised the "Buys, sells, and merchant payouts" file was empty. Have you uploaded all of them with a proper time range? You know, you have to export one file each Coinbase Account (USD, BTC, ETH, LTC...), since Coinbase is the only exchange out there not able to put all transactions into one file.
If you have exported only one account (like ETH) and you do not have any trades in ETH, the file will be empty. Once you have imported them all, the data should be correct.
Best, Dario

Dario said: I'm surprised the "Buys, sells, and merchant payouts" file was empty.
Dario, Everything I've reported was due to carelessness/inattentiveness on my part. The BTC file I got was empty because I had exported the Coinbase Vault info. I have never used the vault, so of course the transactions were empty!
I went back and very carefully exported everything per your instructions: "Buys, sells, and merchant payouts" for all time, for each wallet individually. Then I made a new error: When I was importing the LTC trades, I selected LTC in the drop down, but apparently failed to hit "Save". Of course, it defaulted to BTC. The result was I had nearly hundred thousand dollars in BTC value, which was very far from the truth. Once I changed the BTC to LTC, everything fell into place.
I do have a couple more question: I have transferred coins from Coinbase to Bittrex. Whenever I do that, there is a network fee, but I don't think that gets captured anywhere, or does it?
The same is true for my hardware wallet, there is a network fee whenever coins are transferred to and from the hardware wallet. Are those fees captured anywhere?
Thanks for a great tool!
Steve

If deposits and withdrawals are listed in the CSV file, they will be added into CT, including all fees. If not, you will have to enter them manually.
Wallet imports will import all values with the sent or received amount. When you send 1 BTC to your wallet and you pay a network fee of 0.001 BTC, the imported amount will be 0.999 BTC.

Dario, I put in all the deposits manually, so the USD amount is correct (instead of negative). However, I don't see any transfer transactions on moves from wallet to wallet in the CSV files. Is that something that can be exported from Coinbase and/or Bittrex? If so, how?
Also, the hardware wallet I'm using is a Ledger Nano S. It doesn't appear to provide the ability to export/download transactions at all. Are you aware of any such capability?
Thanks, and sorry to be such a bother.
Steve

What do you think of this? https://cointracking.info/dashboard-test.php (just a test version) Best regards, Dario Awesome! It's great how responsive you are to feedback, Dario. The big chart in the previous version had a nice look and feel. But, since it doesn't fit, I think this layout makes more sense for presenting the key information. I know how tricky it can be to fit things (used to work as a UI designer). With the "Hide all coins if less or equal" filter added, this would be excellent. I also like how you've removed the "quick links" at the top. Cleans up the interface and doesn't hurt usability (at least, to me). Question: The last few days, the page https://cointracking.info/gains.php is giving me the following error: "DataTables warning: table id=trade_table_sell - Invalid JSON response. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/1"It happens on all browsers I've tried. Are other people having this issue, or is it likely something caused by my trade data the last few days? Big thanks! Tim
