Hello. I am having a problem with cgminer 3.7.8. I am running an old radeon 5670, which i previously used to supplement my ASIC miner for dogecoin. I ran 3.7.2 then, and I was getting about 50~100 khash/s. Now, I am using 3.7.8 with neoscrypt support, and my mining hashrate is significantly lower, currently about 1.2-3.5~ khash/s, and I'm pretty much unable to use my pc when the miner is running. Here's my .bat file configuration, which is also located in the same folder as the cgminer exe.
"cgminer.exe --neoscrypt --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://stratum.ftc.theblocksfactory.com:3333 -u * -p * -I 10 -g 2 -w 256
pause"
I took out my username and password for privacy reasons. Also, I tried the "--thread-concurrency 3048" option, but cgminer won't start with that option. it says:
"--thread concurrency: unrecognized option.
cgminer 3.7.8-neoscrypt>pause
press any key to continue..."
I originally ran DDU to clear the driver, installed the 13.11 catalyst driver, then ran miner and let it generate the bin files, closed it, and made the .bat file, ran it, and I noticed the slowness then, but I figured that it would be solved with a GPU driver update from AMD. So, I then ran DDU again to uninstall the 13.11 driver, and updated to the latest driver, but it's still slow and makes my computer almost completely unresponsive.
Thanks for any help!
*never mind. It turns out that I had an extra number of spaces between the values, so it was giving me that error. All is well now, mining happily away at 11 intensity and able to use the pc without lag too
