Why are so many people against bitcoin?

I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

I think the first reason is the lack of knowledge about it. Some people think bitcoin is a kind of scam, some people think of it as a virus   , some people think that bitcoin is owned by a terrorist or hacker groups. Some can't grasp it because of the idea that it is used in criminality especially in deep web where illegal transactions are usually made. Some think that it's too much innovation for them to handle so they'll stick to the traditional.

I think many people against bitcoin because they thought it is a scam and they can't believe that by just posting, investing and minning you can earn money. They against because they don't believe so for me it's better to tell them how it works so that they will not be against and there's a possibility that they will work on it also.

No one wants to fight Bitcoin. It is either they are missed and very disappointed, which in some cases can turn into a form of hatred. Or they lack the knowledge to understand something, which again can turn into a form of hatred.

Many people dont know how good bitcoin in our self and to our country. Because lot of people now earn bitcoin in easy ways like joining bitcointalk signature campaign. You can earn by posting and replying some thread and join some social media campaigns.

Majority of people are still ignorant about bitcoin. It takes a lot of time to know more about bitcoin and most people just don't have that time or perhaps just don't want to use that time.

There are many reasons why people don’t trust on bitcoin.
First: This is not a govt undertaken agency.
Second: The transaction of bitcoins are not traceable, as there is no records for transactions.
Third: The value of bitcoins to money changes unexpectedly every minutes. You may get good profit or heavy lose too.
Fourth: Some countries already have blocked access to bitcoin servers and wallets.

I don't think that people are against bitcoin. Early stage when I came to know the world only bitcoin, straight away I told it is one more scam even I didn't know how it work and what it is. But now I regret for it and I am posting reply to this question. It is human phycology to oppose what ever they hear new one and then they accept it very strongly on it after its success.

Some people don't believe in bitcoin. They understand risk as investment in bitcoin when I discuss this with my friend at work and they do not believe that can earn money in bitcoin even without any investment.

I think those people who against bitcoin is those people who experience scam or other investment that thus not succeed. If they see a good result of bitcoin and the advantage of it they have no reason to feel scared to bitcoin.

information come from? People may be ignorant but that does not
mean that they are against bitcoin. Using traditional currencies is a
habit, they will need a time to learn about new things.
   If anyone is against bitcoin than it is a minority of bank owners,
and circle of people who earn from keeping people under the control
of central banks. They are the only people who are against bitcoin
idea.

Some people do not like bitcoin because they do not know the positive feed back and what it helps to those who like ours. others have just focused on negative news and false news about it so if they hear the bitcoin scam instantly entering their brain.

Some people are against Bitcoin because they aren't as informed about Bitcoin,   maybe they only heard it's name. People  like to resist everything they don't know. They don't  follow innovations very much.

many use bitcoin for dark things because you hide your id & banks/governemnt can’t make tax for bitcoin

people see risks and unreliability and this plays the more important role than having the opportunity to make good money...everyone has their own priorities

It could be because it's a new type of technology that people aren't used to using. They will start to see that it's easy to use.

Then the hear about bitcoin not knowing anything about it people like me react immediately saying one more scam because lot of scam people are seeing and they lost lots of wealth so they react like that.

People are not against it, they just have a certain degree of fear that this new investment which is still in an infancy stage might not pay off as it should. However I agree on the fact that there's never any real profite with no risk at all and if you don't try you never know.

Maybe they don't understand what is all about bitcoin, or they try to understand it but they still not understand that is why some people become against in Bitcoin. Or they are thinking that bitcoin has many disadvatages.
