I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

If they learn about it, they will start to invest it.

Maybe they're just jealous because they do not have bitcoins and fight against bitcoin users. Bitcoin is a great thing right now, there are still many people who do not have an insight into bitcoin and try to slowly recognize bitcoin. Better to join bitcoin than against bitcoin.

There may be too many people failing to invest in Bitcoin. Besides, because in some Bitcoin countries illegally so many people are afraid of being involved with it. So, for some people with Bitcoin knowledge they are never afraid of it because it helps them make money.

People are against bitcoin because they do not have enough knowledge about it. The lack of knowledge increases their uncertainty and distrusts the new currency because it might be a scam. They just need to be taught

There are some cases that people turn against bitcoin because of experience or they dont like the idea of bitcoin. There are some people who spend or invest a lot of money in bitcoin but end in losing all of that and didnt earn profit. Lets keep in mind that not all the time, we can earn profit in bitcoin. Sometimes we lose a lot and gain a lot of money. Also, bitcoin can be used to some illegal activities in the internet like buying illegal guns and drugs thats why some government in some countries already banned bitcoin in their place to prevent the increasing rate of crime because of bitcoin.

I think, still majority is unaware of digital currencies. Though the percentage has increased for last few month but still digital currencies is an unknown thing to majority. By unknown, I mean to say they don’t get the idea of crypto currencies and think they cannot adopt this new way.

Therefore, I agree with the guy to some extent. Bitcoin transactions get slow down due to high traffic of requests and these transactions are far cheaper than the bank ones.

Ignorance and not knowing the technology.
Everybody I tell about bitcoin and other cryptos are suddenly changing their minds. Media is just too dumb to tell the real deal behind it.

The main problem as for me - it is poor information about bitcoin, the blockchain, and technologies. Everything new scares. People don't understand that our usual money in the base is fake. Its just paper, that we decide to use like something gainful. Peace!

There are people who against bitcoin because they do not know what are the real essence of it. They dod not have enough evidences anf proves that bitcoin is legit. They don't have enough knowledge about bitcoin that is totally real.

Yes, There's still a lot of people who are against or do not believe in bitcoin and what I think of is - it is because of the risk of security. I even tried to discuss this with my friends at work and they do not believe that they can earn money in bitcoin even without any investment.

All types of investments has the risk that they could consider. Yet, that is the thing all types of investments has the capability to have risk in order for it to grow or to sustain its with on the market. Risk id just a prove of something that bitcoin could take in the future. And im sure that having the risk , is also having the opportunity to grow and to develop itself for people to earn and to gain profit.

They don't believe about the fact of bitcoin to trust. And the don't believe that they can earn a lot of money, and I think the news has done a very good job of feeding the general public with misleading news which puts bitcoin in a bad light

And I believe that the Rockchild family and all those behind the financial system have tried to boycott Bitcoin, I say try because it will be very difficult, because Bitcoin is a large decentralized network (not counting mining) in which people "ordinary" ones will not let the traditional financial system take over again. We are in a new age and nothing can stop the natural transformation.

Most people I know fear bitcoin with the same reason as to why they fear digital wallets. They think it can easily be hacked. Aside from that, they are just not aware of the many benefits bitcoins (and blockchain) offer. Older people in my side of the world are really skeptic when it comes to investing into anything that isn't bound by legal contracts.

Most of the people don't know the bitcoin process. Some people scare the use to bitcoin. So people don't know the how to work with bitcoin process. If use to start people learn from bitcoin. I think, people's are not against bitcoin, but they are scares about fall in price of bitcoin. Hence they avoid investment in it. People scared about historical price jump. As it is decentralised, the government do not have control over it. Therfore some countries have banned ditcoin.
