Why are so many people against bitcoin?

I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

No these are not so many people who are against bitcoin but most are in the favor of bitcoin while there are only a few people who are against bitcoin and they are against because they do not know about bitcoin and they are in misdirection about bitcoin and about its fact and uses etc.

Not sure. Warren Buffett does not use Bitcoin. Some people asked him when the price of Bitcoin reached $1,300 in 2013 but he answered he does not use Bitcoin at that time and he also does not have any plan to use this currency in future, because he does not trust the Bitcoin system and it will be failure. Many are against bitcoin because they do not know the great possibility that bitcoin can give to them.
You  cannot convince people about bitcoin because of their narrow thinking.
They that bitcoin can harm, they take it negatively.
It seems that it is a big threat for them that is why they are afraid of it.

there are people who are against it, but they were either confused or not well educated regarding the manner, without any idea on how bitcoin works surely there will be confusions.  its decentralization is what keeps it being unaccepted in some country, you can't do some transactions regarding the matter.

It's mainly the rent-seekers that have the biggest problem with it.  One of BTC's main value propositions is its position to cut out the middle-men of some very large and powerful industries.  Of course they're not going to be terribly enthusiastic about it...

There are? I cant hardly feel that because everyone in our family is embracing bitcoin. In fact my mom just invest in bitcoin after my aunt invested prior to her. I honestly dont feel people around me dont like bitcoin. Everyone benefited by doing signature campaign since not all of us can invest but at least they are earning that way. I heard one of my friend whose in networking company saying bitcoin is not stable. I bet she is just envious. But i dont mind her at all.

I understand their side but deep within I smiled and said to myself he did not know how bitcoin have change my life our life . So for this kind of people I will let them say whatever for bitcoin but I am still trying to work hard and continue to earn bitcoin .Some are against bitcoin maybe because they don't know it surely yet, that's why they said bitcoin is scam. Little knowledge is always dangerous. People who has not so much information on BTC and believe on the negative news about BTC are the ones who are against Bitcoin. It does not matter to the potential of Bitcoin if some of the people are against it. Those people are just imprudent who still don't understand the real value and future of BTC.

bitcoin is so popular in cryptocurrency market, its value rises every year that makes more people want to own it, so when they can not afford it because it is too high, people will have no choice but accept using altcoins, moreover, bitcoin is not perfect, it also has weakness, the amount of bitcoin is too big that slow in transaction down, many exchanges takes charges on bitcoin too high, and unstable that make investors really have a bad time using it.

To be honest you can not think of those who do not benefit from bitcoin. Even some banks are arguing against bitcoin. bitcoin will explain to those who are not happy with bitcoin. not just the blockchain technology that bitcoin introduced to them to improve their business, but also opened up new ways for their banks to make money. Actually their bank made a lot of money because bitcoin, all traders use banks to handle their money transfers.

I guess there are several reasons why a lot of people are against Bitcoin. But make no mistake, the portion of those people who are against Bitcoin is relatively smaller as compared to the people who are backing Bitcoin up. But the larger portion is of course those who are still neutral when it comes to the issue because they are still not informed about it. I think the reasons why people are against Bitcoin include the probability that it will be used in illegal activities and the impression that it is used underground.

Maybe because they don't understand how crypto currencies work. They still don't know if it is legitimate or not. Also,they can't invest in bitcoin specially now because bitcoin's value is increasing and since the value is increasing, it is difficult for them to take risk a large amount of money.

You're against it because the price is high and you can't afford 1 bitcoin. I don't think anyone can take the risk and buy 1 bitcoin in 10k$. They are afraid to being scammed in investment. So they're staying away from bitcoins. Maybe we should tell them about the main reason of using bitcoins and it is not just investment in ponzi scheme.

Because they are ignorant about what bitcoin is and how bitcoin can help on their lives. They just don't know the true value of bitcoin and they are maybe reading negative articles about bitcoin.

It's because the media is able to influence opinions and make theirs, them. That applies for everything, they make use of the fact that most people have no basic knowledge about everything so it's easy to influence their opinion about something that they never had. Most people that researched blockchain technology or Bitcoin will be positive, it's just the people that had no opinion that think negative about it.

People resist bitcoin mainly because they do not understand how it works and what it is. If they had paid some time to find out about bitcoin, more of their opinion would have changed.

Yes, there are many people who go against bitcoin but there are more people who also support bitcoin. Those people who goes against bitcoin is losing the  opportunity to be knowledgeable about the evolving financial system and is also losing the chance to earn a great money.
