I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin? is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?
The fear among the common layman is mostly due to a lack of education. Humans are curious by nature but by the same token, they're easily spooked and tend to follow the herd. A lot of people WANT to try it but we're up against media manipulation, controlled by a small group of elite fear-mongers that are doing everything in their power to scare the public. They say ridiculous things like "BTC is not backed by anything or that its too volatile, or - get this -- that it's used by criminals" and what not. But you want to know the truth?
The truth is that crypto is backed by data. Your data, my data, the data of everyone that chooses to use it and what is more valuable these days than data? Not even gold. Bitcoin is designed for people by people. We own it, not THEM. Its OUR data, not theirs. This scares the elitist fear-mongers to death. The fact that they can't control it scares the panties off of them. They know we've tapped into our own power, they realize that cryptocurrencies like the almighty bitcoin could mean the end of their rule.
That its used by criminals? Look around. Our leaders are all criminals. Their crimes are against US! The very people that put them there. Putin, Trump, Duarte, Kim-Jong, May, They're all #THUGS playing with our lives and the organizations behind them, are playing with OUR money! Funding their f*cking wars, bailing out their dirty banks, giving our taxes to the super rich.
That is too volatile and can crash at any moment? Stop right there. Explain to me the 2008 crash where millions lost their homes, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Argentina... people in these countries lost ALL of their money due to 'austerity' measures where banks didn't allow them to take their money out. Any FIAT can go belly up these days. There are no guarantees. Besides, we all know these F*ckers are printing money left and right and that it's not backed by anything.
The main limitation we have is education. People are scared because the very word BLOCKCHAIN sounds so technical. Technology is still a limitation for a huge chunk of the worlds population. Those of us whom have adopted crypto, be it Etherium, btc, lightcoin, etc, have a responsibility to educate others that are new to this. Please, make it yourpersonal calling to share your knowledge with those that are less informed whenever possible. Don't ask any money for it, don't expect anything in return, just share knowledge for the sake of everyone.
Together, we can do anything. Bitcoin unites us all in more ways than one. It crosses all digital divides, it liberates us from the economic tyranny that has shackled us for so many generations. Everyone can contribute, everyone can prosper, everyone can share.
If you have a stash of coins, don't sell it because you're afraid to lose money. You won't. Crypto is here to stay, that's for damn sure. It can only get better so HOLD on to it. HOLD, HOLD, HOLD. The elitists are pumping and dumping in hopes that you'll sell so they can buy it up and believe me, they will. We can't let them get their filthy hands on what's ours. I challenge you to hold, contribute to this revolution and UNITE against the machine.
One last thing: If you own a business, start accepting bitcoin or any other crypto. You'll be doing humanity a great service.
