Why are so many people against bitcoin?

They are again btc because it's shitcoin already. It's just used to speculate and earn money on it (someday it will crash because big fish decide to get their profits). Who needs shit cryptocurrency with tx fee of $25 and waiting a day for tx to be confirmed when there are a lot of better coins that are more useful? -.-

I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

I think it is normal for people to go against bitcoin specially those who do not know its very system and on how it works. Bitcoin's background and origin is quite unknown and sometime all the hype about bitcoin go against its reputation because of scammers popping around.

I don’t think so that currently many people are against bitcoin because people have come to know that cryptocurrency/bitcoin is the need of future. They have come to know importance of technology to fulfill their futures’ needs that’s why they don’t object now and support bitcoin.

Some of them are still against bitcoin, but they don’t know bitcoin completely now and hopefully they will also support bitcoin in near future when they came to know about reality of bitcoin.

Hopefully they do and ultimately for most altcoins people need to trade with btc. What will be really telling will be if someone creates a universal trading platform with fiat gateway. Something like Bread or Air swap could change the whole landscape and bitcoin could really suffer.

I've taken 25% of my holdings out of bitcoin for alts for better returns. You also have to remember these alts have great additional services like in the gambling industry or for privacy

Well,, we have different ways of earning maybe some people are not in line with bitcoin but they are very good in online shopping, being a good dealer and others.... It's like their luck into something else  but they don't have luck in bitcoin.... So they are some what furious to bitcoin

Beacause bitcoin cant control government or any other.and the banks also aganist that beacause btc transaction is very is and low cost because of that it will deduced the bank transactions

The reason why many people are against bitcoin is because of the fact that they lack Knowledge in the ideology behind Bitcoin. The fact that it is a digital currency is the term many people are yet to understand. The use of a wallet from blockchain  technology, also the use of internet, and many others makes it look different from the normal    type of currency they are use to. Government  and bank' s negative  pronouncement can also make many people to be against bitcoin.

That's right, because of the lack of knowledge or let us say they hadn't enough knowledge about bitcoin which they can easily to decide of their self that bitcoin is not legitimate. Perhaps the reason why people are against it is because they haven't tried invest and earn by using bitcoin or else they have a miserable experience of being scammed before that seems like they compare it now to bitcoin technology.

People will be only against bitcoins if their business is being affected just like the banks. Most of the people look at bitcoins like networking which has a pyramid scheme but they did not really know the other ways to earn cyptocurrency. I do believe if there is someone who can orient them well about the truth about bitcoins and how they are going to earn this cryptocurrency the correct way and earn more money then no one will really think about bitcoins as a scam or they will not be against it.

It's maybe bacause they don't have any idea about bitcoin. They don't know it's transaction schemes. There are people who are very hesitant about bitcoin. They are afraid to try something new. Though they see proofs about botcoin , they still think that it's a scam and that will just hinder their success.

There are so many people who are still against bitcoins and even governments are trying to stop bitcoins in their country as they don't have much idea on what it is and how it is being dealt its privacy of maintaining the details of the real user is something which scare the government as they feel that it will bring in some kind of economic loss for their nation.The government thinks that the money which should stay in their country is going outside so is one of the reason some governments are trying to ban in their nation.

Perhaps people doesn’t “hate” it. It’s just they are not into it because they are not knowledgable enough about the system. This lack of knowledge makes cryptocurrencies unsafe for them. The lack of tangible aspects of Bitcoin is not yet embraced by most people today. Some are not yet ready to take risks for money they can’t hold within their hands.

People are being skeptical in bitcoin in so many ways, it's decentralized they are thinking that it can burst in just a blink of an eye and we can't do nothing about that.

i've replied to htis thread somewhere and adding another reply to the OP's question. the reason why so many are "against" bitcoin is that compared to the larger world population, the bitcoin community is quite small. bitcoin is still relatively new to folks outside the bitcoin/blockchain world, and so, the majority still find it odd that we can do so much with bitcoin and that it's valuable when it's just data

Two types of people are against Bitcoin, one Who do not know about Bitcoin/Blockchain technology and other who have to resist every new creation.
