This bug does not allow us to upgrade the coin at the moment to the 99% finished 9.6.9 codebase. Also, and most importantly, GroundRod our Chief Developer is no more, in fact he may be actually dead... but because he is anonymous we cannot be sure although it is 4 months he disapeared. So we are looking for a skilled C++ coder to review the GroundRod code and finally release this awesome work!Until and unless we find this new C++ coder we will not release. It would be a shame considering the amount of work GroundRod put in this new codebase (updated to bitcoin 10.99). Pass the word around! CS I will ask Lizhi. Thank you for your help Conqueror! Also I have updated the Development Schedule to show the current bugs discovered in Testnet and their resolution, and the Anoncoin development team page to show the current list of active developers and inactive ones, updated every month. In this way people will not be mislead about where we currently are and what our human capacity are.

Can't really imagine how that will work. Really looking forward to see. Also, I included ANC into my investment guide. Feel free to add your opinions folks! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1287481.msg13233136#msg13233136Also it seems all coins from the list can now be traded alternatively on Bittrex. ANC is only one stuck on Cryptsy. Any idea if this guy might add us on TREX? richie@bittrex

Can't really imagine how that will work. Really looking forward to see. pretty much like localbitcoins.com view p2p listings for 3rd party payment channels like meetups, mu/mg, bankdeposit ect. built in escrow system. private messaging, reputation and reviews ANC is only one stuck on Cryptsy.
lots of coins stuck on cryptsy now So i have been for a while @ cryptsy , i withdrawed some btc , like 30 40 euro's worth , i know it aint much but its enough to help me out my struggle . I withdrawed or tried to withdraw my btc and the status says that it is still pending after almost a week now or 2 , i made almost over 20 tickets , and this is what i get for response : I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. Currently most BTC LTC BTCD and DASH withdrawals are extremely slow moving due to tech issues. This progressively got worse over the past week and were trying to find the reason they are not going out. Please understand that due to extremely high security this is a very complex system and the problem is still being resolved. We thank you kindly for your patience. Have a good day. Sincerely, Marjorie Cryptsy.com Some tickets are open for like 3 days and still with no answer to my question and also no refunds . they also offered me to cancel the WD , and i still aint got my btc back into my account , i also tried their chatbox and they have silenced me on there , so after 20+ tickets and a fairytale that they could cancel and give me back my btc , i still have nothing in my wallet , i have been watching the chatbox for some time and there are so many that come with the same problems like me , i wonder how many of us getting robbed like this ? Is there not anything we can do to get us our btc back ? Some people lost big but not me , but this was enough to fund an extra miner along with the rest of my money , but now thanks to craptsy i have to wait until my next paycheck in the end of the month if they also stole your btc , please share your experience ! Also it seems all coins from the list can now be traded alternatively on Bittrex. Any idea if this guy might add us on TREX? richie@bittrex
we used to be listing on trex iirc they had some issues with the wallet and delisted, best bet imo wait for the new version before getting back to them.

100% are past ?% are future The future is already predetermined. Look how many coins appeared out of nowhere - http://coinmarketcap.com/What's the point if you hold the coin and the market is full of similar coins and you will not get with this income. Just sit back and wait what Santa Claus would come and pump the price?

The longer the block time the lower the chance of one peer finding "another block in a row, before receiving the block from the other peer" as in your example above. Other coins have dealt with a similar issue (although more often in the context of orphaned blocks rather than peer to peer banning).

We will not change the coin fundamentals. Orphaned blocks would be the correct behaviour to have I agree. In fact two blocks in a row is not so improbable, and we cannot take the risk to do the hardfork for PID on mainet with this issue. The Kimoto Gravity Well version 2 in the 9.6.4+ code is 100% compatible with the actual mining process (9.6.9 has been used successfully since 6 months for mining on mainet). News about development: Results from the various Testnets we are doing showed a very good retargetting of the difficulty with the new PID.
